Best WLM Reviews

Stayed on a Friday before a Warriors' game. Walked to the Chase Center, though it's a bit of a hike, so recommend taking public transit next time -- the local bus system is called the MUNI, from Market Street. I've stayed once before at a YOTEL (Boston), and the vibe is much the same, once one arrives inside the hotel. The area outside the hotel didn't bother me (as I lived in the City for many years) -- though some may find the street people and homeless denizens disturbing (more so after dark). There is a self-check in/out set of workstations as one enters the lobby (I had to be buzzed in upon arrival, as the outer doors are locked, with signs indicating that there are no public restrooms). I arrived prior to the 3 pm check-in time, but was able to get into an upgraded room (with no uncharge) earlier. The rooms are on the smallish side, with a bed that expands upon the push of a button. Half of the room is comprised of a shower and a toilet and washbasin. There was a conveniently located water station down the hall outside the elevators. I booked online via Booking.com, and received a decent room rate, as compared with other hotel properties in the vicinity. A complimentary breakfast was included, comprised of an assortment of croissants, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. Nothing elaborate, but decent, and located on the 2nd floor lounge. I have stayed at other properties in the City, with an eye towards locations that were easily accessible to attending Giants' and Warriors' games. After the Warriors' game, it was a snap to catch the free street tram outside Chase Center. I got off at the Powell St. station, proceeded to walk thru the underground passageway up to Market Street, and the hotel was about a block away. I would definitely consider a return visit to this hotel again.
Had a great experience at the hotel. My call out is for Dalia. She went over and beyond to help me and a colleague who was having tech issue get our documents back on track. |The location was perfect for the needs we had. The parking garage was a block or so away but was very reasonable for being downtown. We will definitely be back.
So let me start by telling your our concierge help at Mission Control (1st floor) was Regina on our 1st day at check in. She was absolutely amazing with her speed of service, friendly smile & great conversation. She made sure our 1st day there we had what we needed at the hotel. All of the staff excelled at what they do, but she took the cake. The establishment was professional in their approach, rooms were always replenished & we never not had what we need. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was before the room we were in there was not a door for privacy in the restroom like a normal hotel & breakfast wasn’t a full breakfast. Outside of that there are no compla For me. They do great at keeping the homeless away with security.
I am reviewing the hotel not the surroundings . Affordable in probably the worse part of town with dispair all around but this is central SF so will go through it at some point but rest assured it is more saddening than scary. The hotel, interesting and perfect for a solo or couple, retro style and minimal but it is affordable as well as in good condition. If location is of importance, still consider this as you can ride share if uncomfortable but union square is 300m and you have all BART and other transport such as buses and cable cars almost at the door. You can be out of the area of sadness within 5 blocks. It doesn’t go away but not so depressing.
The location of the hotel is good, though at night some folks may opt to stay in due ti the people with drug problems loitering the streets around it. The check-in staff were very friendly.||The gym was great. The rooms are fine and have a nice design, although there is almost no space available for storing clothes.
We had an exceptional stay, thanks to Luciano’s outstanding service. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Luciano was incredibly kind and helped us secure an additional night at the best available rate, which made our stay even more enjoyable. His professionalism and warmth made all the difference, and because of his excellent service, we will definitely be returning. Thank you, Luciano, for making our experience great on our first visit!
The building have been renovated and looks great. The only thing was that the neighborhood have too many homeless and wasn't advertised. They need to be honest with the guest. I will not recommend the hotel for families with kids and babies.
It was conformable and easy to get to. The Bart station is right outside and the public transportation drops you off in front. Looked clean and had a conformable bed. A lot of homeless people right outside it gets scary near nightfall, and very sketchy. Hotel rooms are very small, the only thing that has a door is the small standing shower, and everything else is out in the open. One of the main reasons we chose to stay there was for the breakfast which turned out to be cereal, apples, croissants, and coffee. While I was there the handle to the shower fell off and the TV kept glitching and didn't notice till the last hour of our stay. Felt like the hotel didn't advertise their hotel as well as they should.
