Best WLM Reviews

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is rated four stars, but I would honestly give it no more than two. My experience was far from satisfactory, and I was quite disappointed with several aspects.
Firstly, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. It felt like corners had been cut, and the housekeeping could use significant improvement. Additionally, the furniture throughout the hotel is quite outdated, giving the place a neglected and worn-out appearance.
In the bathroom, I encountered broken fixtures, and the sink was not replaced, which was quite frustrating. To make matters worse, the bathroom door did not close completely, which made for an uncomfortable experience.
Lastly, the overall space of the room was extremely small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. I had expected a more spacious environment for a hotel of this rating.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and clean experience.
We first came into contact with Yotel in Singapor. We felt very comfortable there because the room was very clean, the furnishings were modern and the location was great. So it was clear to us that we also wanted to stay at the Yotel in New York. ||Unfortunately, we experienced exactly the opposite here. ||||This negative feeling manifested itself the night before last. When I went to the toilet at 2 a.m., I was standing with my feet in water. Fortunately, we were able to change rooms within 30 minutes thanks to the quick and professional actions of the staff. ||We were given a new room which was an upgrade to our old room. The excitement was quickly dampened when we entered the new room. This room smelled even more strongly of tobacco and cannabis than the old one. We identified the ventilation as the source of the disturbance. As we had the same experience in both rooms, we realized that this was a general problem.||||It's important to mention that we are normal people and don't like to talk negatively about anything. Nevertheless, we find honest feedback very important for improvement.||||If we had to rank this stay with all our other hotel stays, this would be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. ||We would definitely not recommend it.
I absolutely love staying at YOTEL. I have stayed there twice now and this’ll probably be my designated spot. It’s based in an area where it’s comfortable and it is not too far from Times Square. But, rooms I’ve had have had terrific views. I love the gentlemen who assist when checking out and securing your luggage prior to leaving for the airport that way you can still go out and enjoy your time after checkout. They are very friendly and they order your car and schedule within a timely manner. The lady in the front was also very helpful when I was having maintenance issues, she didn’t hesitate to get some help. When maintenance showed up he was very informative and fixed ALL of our minor issues very efficiently. Not everything goes perfect 100% of the time but we communicated our concerns kindly and they took initiative and had everything taken care of which goes a very long way. Before reading the reviews give it a shot before you knock it! I loved the stay both times.
It advertised an experience that seemed revolutionary, modern and unique, but it's just an expensive motel.
The rooms were tiny. All of the "cool" room gadgets didn't work. The shower had some concerning black mold on the bottom corner. The furniture had burn marks. And the sheets had what I believe was a small blood stain.
The staff was nice.
I had problems with my reservation at the self check in booths, so I had to go to the regular lobby anyway, where they were very kind, apologized for the issues and helped me right away.
It seems like a money grabbing company that put purple led strips on their furniture in an attempt to disguise the fact that you're paying too much money for a 1 star motel.
Not worth it at all, in my opinion.
First time in New York and sadly was disappointed with this hotel which we booked as a package through Virgin! The room was very shabby, heating wasnt working engineer did come and fix it but towel radiator wouldnt work as they are awaiting parts, so towels were always damp, charging points and plug sockets didnt always work and you had to push the unit back into the wall before plugging anything into it (not very safe). There was 2 adults and a 16 year old staying the room which are small around 5 coat hangers on a tiny stand and 2 very small drawers so we ended up living out of our suitcases. Beds were very soft and had seen better days looked very worn. Myself and husband did get biten a few times which we think could have been the carpet or bed. Mirror didnt alway light up when you turn it on, there was a hairdryer, iron and small ironing board but never used these. there a very small safe in the room as well. The hotel is in a good location about 10/15mins walk to times square. We booked via virgin and on there website it states Resort Fees include daily discounts and exclusive discounts for guests at attractions, broadway, tours etc we didnt see any of that. Also stated complimentary use of luggage storage we got charged to store 3 suitcase at the hotel while we had a last minute wander, things like this that adds to the cost of your trip. So for our first time in New York this hotel did let us down rooms need a make over, and reception area is small and always seem full of people. We would not go back to this hotel. Do not order a taxi from the reception area go outside and flag a yellow cab down its cheaper and yellow cab are the best to use around the city. its a flat rate to JFK airport.
The hotel was very clean and fairly new interior. The room was compact but very efficient with an expanding bed button so we could always make more room. We also had a fantastic view of the city! The staff was always wonderful anytime we needed help with directions, room cleanings, or whatever it was; we always received amazing service. There’s an amazing rooftop bar/indoor bar & restaurant that has great drinks and yummy food. There was always different entertainment events happening at the hotel too in the Green Room and even brunch events sometimes. It was so convenient to have all of that at the hotel in case we wanted to stay in. The hotel location was pretty decent, it was a 10 min walk to the subway or Times Square, which wasn’t too bad. We look forward to staying here again!
Hotel is just a short walk from Times Square. Very clean and compact but definitely a lot of visible wear & tear and could do with an upgrade. There is no privacy in the room whatsoever alongside being very small and cramped. The bed on a plus size was super comfy. The lobby area of the hotel wasn’t very friendly / welcoming and the service in the restaurant on the 4th floor was very slow with no atmosphere. Wouldn’t stay here again unless it was upgraded.
The negatives-
No information about how to find the room when you check in, you have to take the lift to the 4th floor then turn right and use the other lifts to get to your floor (the signs say ‘cabins’ rather than rooms which was confusing) also on the second lift you need to press your room key on the reader before selecting the floor.
Cleanliness of the room was a 3/5. Overall clean but not the best (mattress stained, button to move the bed needs a deep clean and down the back of the bed needs cleaning)
The lighting in the room was awful, there is no main light just the mirror light and colour light around the TV.
The positives-
Perfect location and very friendly staff.
