Best WLM Reviews
I love Yoshinoya but this establishment was severely lacking on the food tonight. Rice wasn’t ready leading to 30 min wait. Fried chicken had dirty grease and was all
Mushed together. Chicken was under cooked. Clam chowder was cold. Soda machine was turned off. I grew up eating yoshinoya so I’m familiar with the quality but quality control was really off tonight. I
Flight was delayed some more so to cure our hangry and cranky selves we got beef bowl again. Caught the LAX-it shuttle to the Uber pickup and made my way to Yoshinoya. As always, food was ifo to the nifo (good af).
And shoutout to my Uber driver Hamid! Super chill dude. Also got him a bowl which he enjoyed.
Came here late night because they stayed open until 2am. upon arrival there is a sign stating that they are only serving kids meals.
There is no ways an establishment that is this big can only have portion sizes for kids meals and if so to accommodate your customers you would serve them in whatever bowl that you have available.
This is an obvious sign of laziness whoever was working tonight just did not want to cook and decided to deter customers with this sign.
I have been here numerous times and this has never been an issue.
Instead of saying that you only have kids meals just close the business down for the night...
Not only did I waste my gas and my time coming here but The lack of customer service Does not give me a reason to come back.
I even asked the employee if they could give me the same portion for my large meal just put it in the kids bowls.. However I was told that they could not do that because it would be too many bowls!
What kind of business is this?!?!
For a large chain they should be ashamed of hiring people who do not want to do their job.
For the manager or owner who sees this look at the picture that was posted in your establishment.
Horrible service and a waste of time
For fast food, the portions are pretty decent. The employee never asked if I wanted veggies with my bowl, so I only had it with the meat. Even then, it was pretty good.
Regularly go and they close an 60-90 minutes early.
They leave the open sign on and the “we’re cooking” but the workers say we’re done.
IDK
I bought the new spicy, jalapeño, chicken bowl because I saw it on TV and saw a photo it looked delicious, but on purchasing it looks nothing like the photo, very little sauce, and when I got home it had 4 small pieces of chicken, 3 pieces of vegetables so I paid $8.99 basically for a bowl of rice. I’m so disappointed ! Yoshinoya was one of my favorite places.
I used to come this place a lot when my father was alive and gave me nostalgia whenever I come to visit. The place has definitely gotten better since when I was a kid. The reconstruction def made more space for more guests to fit in even during rush hours. The staff is def hard at work so I can't put them down because they are always busy with long lines. With that being said, I just wish that upper management would hire more people due to the fact that with more staff they can cover more areas and there won't be any issues with the guests complaining. From what I see other reviews I believe it's due to understaffing that makes the employees over stressed which then leads to arguments with the customers.
In my opinion if yoshinoya hired more people and coordinated their staff to rush hours there would be less issues to deal with since the location of the restaurant is near the stadiums.
Other than that, the place is def worth checking out and the quality of the food is worth it. Guests should make time to eat at the place in case it's busy due the high demand because you can't rush good food. Finally I will always cherish yoshinoya as it's always a nostalgic place to eat. Keep up the great work, stay strong staff!.
The was not that good. Unfortunately, the pictures on the menu board do not
match what you get. I just was not happy with what I received. One thing I will say is the prices were not outrageous. So, I guess you get what you are paying for. The gentleman who helped me was amiable, though.
