Best WLM Reviews
Yoshi's is amazing. The food is excellent, and the ability to stroll right from fine into a show is incredible. We are great food and saw Freddie Jackson. It was a great night of fun. I highly recommend Yoshi's.
A really world-class concert venue. The space is sized just right for jazz, no bad seats, great sight lines and sound system. The staff is great! Friendly and helpful. I've been here many times and always a wonderful experience.
Pardon my ignorance but I didn’t know shrimp tails had edible meat until we visited Yoshi’s for dinner. The shrimp here has changed my standards for a good quality shrimp. Oh and before I forget to mention, I really liked the shrimp here and would go again for…you get the idea. Give the s****p a try :). Guess what I forgot to take a photo of?
Overall, my second time coming here. 1st was music soul child
2nd Toni Tony Tone.
The ambience and atmosphere is great. Mixture of a mature diversity to be a local place. Food is good, wish there was more options of food: steak, chicken, and seafood. The menu is decent though. Drinks very extensive menu. Great place for a date that has concert and good food all in one. Saves driving time, convenient, ample parking is only 100ft away. There need to be more exits after the concert. Very crowded going thru the small double doors. Tempers flair, it could be a hazard issue if something happens. Not really convenient. The prices are not to bad, but however portions not small either but could add vegetables on the side of plates for the price of certain plates( porkchop and ribeye). Life is expensive sometimes we have to break bread to live a good experience. The shows start on time and great views through out the concourse.
Servers and staff very friendly and helpful for our first visit to the restaurant and venue. Provided a yellow ticket with seating assignment for after dinner music show.
Cucumber Shizo cocktail leaned towards the sweet syrupy side, which most would like but I did not prefer. Not quite to the level of a true cocktail bar with more balanced flavors. The tequila and soda I ordered at the show had a strange taste.
Octopus salad was okay, a bit tough. Sashimi was very fresh with nice sized portions. Sushi rolls were overly large 2-3 bites and really need to be more manageable. Food was brought out “family style” and that just means they bring it all at once in a massive rush so there is no pacing. This might work for larger groups and tables, but our little 2 top was too crowded.
Atmosphere was nice and matched the fancier reputation of Yoshi’s. All levels of dress. We drove 90 mins to eat and watch a show. We would come back for just a show. You can order food then instead of eating at the restaurant, if you prefer.
High-end Sushi. Just not what we needed or wanted. The waiter was great. This is more of a "FAMILY STYLE" share the plates on your table restaurant. This is hard to do with two people. We had sushi & seafood fritatta. The seafood dish was like seafood onion rings. Deep fried, or fried in oils. Was ok. Too much for one person to eat. ALL sides come with a separate price.
The view of the guys making the sushi was kind of neat.
They do have a Jazz band / theater next door and you need to pay $40 per person in food to have free entry into the music.
Fine wine- you can get that here. We were more comfortable with a mixed drink at First & Last Chance.
Came for dinner before seeing an amazing Glasper Jazz show. Server was Sophia and she was wonderful. Attentive and full of great suggestions. The first two drinks we ordered were TERRIBLE. It wasn’t a proper balance in the least so left them on the side & ordered the Summer Snow sake bottle which was delicious. Faves were duck spring roll , A’s and Monkey sushi roll. The beef skewers were very chewy. The dining area is open and a great place to people watch. Bathrooms are clean. The entertainment space for the show was perfect. Nice to see many people dressed for a show. Wonderful atmosphere & experience.
The service was good and the concert was all the way live. Good vibes.
