This national park is so big and beautiful with countless trails, campsites, bathrooms, store and waterfalls. waterfalls are full and gorgeous but it all depends what time of the year you go because they do dry out a bit. There is no benches or water along the way so make sure to bring plenty to stay hydrated and some snacks.
I can’t imagine why anyone would come to Yosemite and rate it anything lower than a five star. Everything about this place is great, the views are breathtaking and the hiking trails are plentiful. The park rangers are also really cool and super helpful. They are incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about the park. The park itself is also incredibly clean which is great and even the people who come here are respectful of the park.
Just keep in mind if you do come, there is a limited number of bathrooms, water fountains, benches and similar amenities around the park. It is wise to keep a map of Yosemite with you that shows you where everything is. In addition to this, because the park is out in nature, it may be difficult to get internet connection while here. There were times where my friends and I did not have any connection and needed to resort to the map to figure out where to go.
One final note: the trash cans and recycle bins are also posted in certain places around the park. They are not everywhere. Even at our campsite, we did need to walk a bit to find the nearest trash can to throw away our things
Great experience. Highly recommend one trip in your life. From Florida I have been twice. Never regret either trip. Go in mid May through June. Glacier Point a must and of course anything in the valley floor.
Awesome place. We went on a day trip which was not enough to cover the entire place. But it certainly got me curious to come back again.
Huge waterfalls were nice to marvel at. This was in summer. Pretty sure the view in other seasons would be different.
It would need atleast 2 days or better 3 to check it out well.
Yosemite National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in USA. Lots of great trails like Vernal & Nevada Falls or Half Done and places to drive to like Glacier Point & Tunnel View! The views simply breathtaking in any direction you look.
Yosemite National Park is an awe-inspiring destination featuring towering granite cliffs, spectacular waterfalls, and peaceful meadows. Its trails offer incredible hiking experiences, while spots like El Capitan and Half Dome are perfect for photography. Ideal for nature lovers, it's a place where unforgettable memories are made.....
What a beautiful day at Yosemite. What not to enjoy!
I had visited long ago and had forgotten how beautiful this was. Hiked to Mirror Lake, great hike, not too strenuous and quite fun, mostly in the shade. Fantastic view and very peaceful. The mirror effect is a true mirror but one can only see it if you get close to the edge of the water.
You can also walk around the lake and have a spectacular view of your surroundings from the middle of a meadow. Breathtaking!
Also enjoyed the Curry Village afterwards for food and drinks, not overpriced. Store has a lot of selection of prepared food and not overly overpriced.
There is an ice cream shop in the village that we missed, we had bought some ice cream bars already from the store. Lots of souvenirs/clothes/last minute camping gear in there.
Mirror Lake is about 1.5-2 miles from the village.
Just brilliant despite so much of park trees burnt out some time ago. Easy to get around once you get a parking spot which is probably easier earlier in day. We left at 3pm and still lots if cars lined up to get in.
