Best WLM Reviews
We had the excellent service at this cute pub. It stays busy and its cozy inside. We went 2 nights in a row and all servers and hosts are kind and efficient. The food was very good. I loved the clam chowder, and the butter beans were so flavorful! And the crabcake sandwich is yummy too!
Haven’t been here for a while. Food was fantastic. My husband said it was the best fried flounder he has ever had. My prime Rib sandwich was spot on. Our waitress was great. The place was packed and I was impressed with how smoothly everything was run. All the customers seemed to love the place. Very upbeat atmosphere and employees. We will definitely be back!
Yorktown Pub is one of the few dining options in Yorktown, and it stands out as a relatively budget-friendly choice with a casual, local vibe. (ice tea, Crab cake sandwich, cup of soup, w top came to $38) The staff was incredibly accommodating to our large party, going out of their way to split tables and checks seamlessly, which is always appreciated. A note for larger groups: an 18% gratuity is automatically added for parties of six or more. The service was quick and attentive, making the experience smooth overall. As for the food, I started with the clam chowder, which was fine but nothing exceptional—it struck a balance between not being overly creamy or watery. My main course was the crab cake sandwich, which was easily the largest I’ve ever seen, about the size of a baseball. However, the size didn’t translate to quality, as it was dense, packed with filler, and lacked the fresh crab flavor I was hoping for. I could only manage about a quarter of it. On a brighter note, the potato salad I chose as a side was quite good and complemented the meal well. Overall, Yorktown Pub offers a decent option in the area, especially for groups, but the food quality leaves some room for improvement.
I have been coming to the pub off and on since 2002. The crab cakes are my go to every time I come back. The crab cakes are amazing, the only place I go to for them when I visit.
Dinner on a weeknight in October. Loved it. Great atmosphere. Music from the 70’s-90’s playing. Food was excellent. Fish was fresh and local. Definitely going back again!
So happy I stopped in! The food was so delicious and the view absolutely gorgeous. If you like a cozy seafood spot on the beach (and who doesn't?) look no further!
Great place with lots of history. We needed a handicapped parking spot, and the wonderful staff made sure we had a convenient spot. The food was good. My dining companion found the prices high, but he is 94!!! Steamer platter came with 12 shrimp, 6 clams, and 6 oysters. The potato skins were plentiful and very good. Two appetizers with water to drink. 45 bucks not including tip. The experience was well worth it.
Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, baked potato with chili, & turkey Reuben. They were all very good! For desert, we ordered a slice of carrot cake. My only complaint would be the slice we received was essentially a sliver (for $7.50). It was delicious though. Would return!
