Came here on Saturday morning with my dad. He was in town visiting me from Los Angeles and fell in love with Scrapple last time. So when he looks up a restaurant selling it, he found this one. I would give this location 5 stars but reason I give it 4 was because the biscuits were mediocre. Didn’t really taste like anything and the country fried Steak didn’t taste like it was seasoned even though it had a boat load of gravy on top. However, the potato’s were to die for! So delicious and I gave the scrapple a try too and it was great. I’m sure there are more tasty options on the menu but I’m rating based on what I ordered.
Now to speak on the customer service, I was seriously blown away. We were immediately greeted, sat down, and introduced to our waitress. Both the woman who fixed up our table and gave us a menu, as well as the waitress, were incredibly kind. It is very rare to have numerous employees on a busy Saturday morning having time to have conversation and provide quality service. I wish I got their names because they were great. At check out, we made our way to the register and my dad spoke to 2 men. Again, both incredibly kind and patient with my dad (he talks a lot lol).
Lastly, the atmosphere. The tables are pretty close together but not an uncomfortable close. The restaurant itself is on the older side but it feels welcoming, as if you’re meant to be there. Because Christmas is also around the corner, I noticed the small decor around to give it some holiday cheer.
Overall, I think this restaurant is worth trying and I would definitely come back to try some more.

It's not just the value for the dollar. This was a pretty decent hamburger. The bun was toasted inside and out. It was served in halves with the cold side cold and the hot side hot. The fries were good. Service was good. The staff are friendly. This is a local gem more people need to know about.
I'm temporary in Manassas for work
Was looking for a good breakfast in town and found this great location.
So delicious food and the prices are so affordable. The service is just incredible amazing. I'm a coffee guy so they pleased me with planty of coffee.
I called this myself, breakfast for champions.
100% recommended, staff here is so friendly and happy to serve.
Old school restaurant, but dont let looks deceive you, the food is good. Even the jr burger is big and very good, they do something to their buns to make it extra good. Country friend steak breakfast is good (but mine wasnt perfect).. great portion, and their home made biscuits is what does it- super good biscuits.
needed a bite of food, went here since it was nearby. by golly I was not expecting this quality of food at all. by far, I have found a secret hidden gem. coming in, you would not expect much from his intimidating diner, but once you eat the food you realize the quality of it. for the price, I have never had breakfast food this good. I personally ordered the country fried steak with onion rings, and both had a fresh crisp to them. my friend ordered a patty melt, and it was very juicy. this place is very reasonable and if youre nearby don't hesitate to drop by.
Perfect place to come for a delicious REAL country breakfast. Family-owned and has been here for over 45 years. We came here for the first time for my Mom’s birthday because she was craving a classic American country breakfast. Somehow we never knew this amazing place was just down the road from us all these years! Great food, friendly service, casual country atmosphere. Everything home-cooked. The owners came out and greeted us, and later on they surprised my mom with a slice of cake for her birthday :)
1st time here & the food is amazing!!! Our server was amazing so funny and sweet!!! Will be coming back food is much more authentic than a big chain restaurant!!! :)
Stepping into The Yorkshire Restaurant in Manassas feels like stepping into your grandmother's kitchen - familiar, warm, and filled with the tantalizing aroma of home-cooked meals. This family-run gem has been serving up happiness on plates for decades, scooping up a well-deserved title as the Best Breakfast Restaurant in the area along the way.
We went there for brunch and were greeted by a bustling, yet comforting atmosphere. We were seated promptly and served with genuine warmth, the kind you'd expect from old friends. The coffee was a strong handshake to start the day, while the juices were a refreshing pat on the back.
The food? Classic diner fare. The eggs and home fries, however, could've used a touch more heat. Despite that, the overall homeliness of the place made the visit worthwhile.
So, if you're in the Manassas area and find your stomach growling for some comfort food, swing by The Yorkshire Restaurant. It's the kind of place that feels like home, even when you're miles away.
