The place was packed on a Saturday morning but I got my loaded lox with chive cream cheese on a jalapeño bagel upstairs pretty fast. Delicious and it wasn’t slapped together in a rush. The service was excellent and the vibe was cheerful all around. So do yourself a favor and get your next bagel here. I didn’t get a mimosa but the persons next to me looked pretty good.
We’ve lived in the area for a couple of years and have been here several times. We’re moving and went there one last time this AM. What a special place. Food is DELICIOUS, atmosphere is cozy, and everyone is so kind. Our favorite thing is that they have so many vegan options!! We aren’t vegan but have 2 egg allergies in our family. It’s awesome that they have options for them, including cookies/baked goods. We’re going to miss this place!
Also, I crave salty foods for breakfast. The Reuben on a sesame bagel is sooo good.
Have had multiple people tell me to try this place out. Line was out the door so I was confident coming here was the right choice. Staff were fine, no bad interactions there. Atmosphere was nice. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Bland. Completely flavorless. And for the price it felt like a ripoff. I know I’m not the only one with this opinion by reading the reviews. Alas, Yorgo’s is just another ghent establishment that overcharges for mediocre and tasteless food. I hope the owner has a better day.
Wonderful place to go to if you want a bagel-and more! My husband and I got The Lox Cream and Cheese bagel and the Grinder Bagel. Both were delicious and would reccomend! Overall the atmosphere was nice, the Service was great, and the food was fresh. Would go to eat again!
My daughter found this place, said she had a great experience here before, and wanted me to try it. So, we were in Norfolk for the day and stopped by, I love a good bagel with cream cheese, and this fit that description. I chose a vegan everything bagel with plain vegan cream cheese. It sounds boring, but the flavor was awesome. I enjoyed it and look forward to going back next time I'm in town.
My daughter had a rough visit this time though, she asked for a vegan breakfast sandwich with vegan cheese, and when we got it, it had regular cheese on it so she couldn't eat it. She was very upset, but when we turned the car around to go back, they were very accommodating, apologized for the mistake, and remade her sandwich. I thought they handled it very well, and she was happy.
I will absolutely go back a second time. Customer service is everything. And the food was on point. I wish I had one right now, but I live too far away, lol.
Came here after the many high reviews. Ordered 2 bagels toasted with cream cheese, and one hashbrown. The hashbrown came out lukewarm at best and the bagels don't seem to be toasted. Very minimum cream cheese added. Disappointing for sure.
Totally forgot how good this place was. I had not eaten here in years and stopped in for a breakfast bagel. I just moved nearby and have been looking a good breakfast sandwich spot. The search is over!! I had the ????/sausage/???? on everything bagel, $8. Can’t beat it!! The sammy was huge and well worth the $. You can tell they are cracking eggs and it’s not premade crap like some other spots in Ghent. Customer 4life!
The bagel was hard,cold and not toasted. The cream cheese was only spread on one side of the bagel. The woman who called off the order number was in a terrible mood and looked like she was over the day. The place is super cute and in a great area but the food and especially the staff killed it for me.
