I'm sharing my experience so you don't get scammed like we did , it was our first time there, the server told us we needed to pay so they could bring the food and drinks to the table, (btw do NOT waste your money on the food, its not worth it), after that, if we wanted to order something else, he said it was the policy that we had to pay in advance, we didn't notice until we were about to leave that he was charging $10 extra for each transaction. Apparently, they charge for a gratuity over 6 people, but it was only 4 of us. He said he was going to get a manager, but he never came back. Another lady came and asked us if we needed help, we told her what happened, well, it turns out that we didn't have to pay every time we ordered something. That guy Emilio robbed us!!
Tried this place last night. A Saturday. It's pretty small. Extremely packed! Tables were full. We and many others were standing. Security asked us and others to not block walkway, but it was inevitable. Tried to get a drink at the bar. Bartenders would ignore people waiting to order drinks. This one lady says "Good luck getting a drink". So, after 20 minutes of being there, we left. Not going back.
Great food! Great drinks! And great staff! We’ll be back later at night to jam w the band.
I was invited to this place and I was really looking forward to have a good time since I had not been out in a while. However, as soon as we got there around 7:30 pm the waiters and waitress immediately wanted me to sit at the CORNER of the Bar when All the tables on the entrance side of the place were empty or had reserved PPsign. That entire side was empty.
I wanted a table in that area where it did not say reserved and they told me that EVERYTHING was reserved even though there was NO reserve sign. I turned to my husband and told him I wanted to leave and then they pretended to make an exception to give me the table I wanted which did not say reserve.
I asked what I needed to reserve a table and they told me to call ahead and PAY for a Bottle.
It was not long for me to find out these people were reserving the tables for their friends or the people they felt met the criteria they were looking for.
Of all the reserved tables, only 3 had the Bottle they required to reserve it.
The food, drinks and Band were great and our waiter was awesome which saved the day.
Too bad this people need to learn customer service and not judge and lie about reserve tables.
I won’t be back anytime soon!!!!!
OH AND I PAID (my total bill) 5 Times the Price of the bottle they required to reserve the table! Needless to say, I ended up having a good time.
*** Buyers Beware, The Drinks on a JARRITO were $25 EACH and throughout the night WE ORDERED 8 NOT knowing they were $25 each as this does not have pricing ????*****
Parking was easy, the whole vibe was on point! We didn't ask for food but the service was good and the whole Dj and live band was on point! I definitely recommend this place for the old school 90s. Music was Awesome ????????
Great place to eat, drink, listen to music, and have a super fun time with friends. Local band was fantastic. Had a super time.
Good music band, food could use improvements, drinks are great!. Don't order the queso! It's bad. The queso you get at the gas station for nachos taste better than this one. You can really taste the can that it came in. Charro beans are truly one of the best I've had, but a long hair came in it. The waitress was nice to switch my beans out for a new one. The tacos were actually really good! The pastor is very flavorful and delicious! Also tried the chicken and beef tacos, and enjoyed them. The horchata could be filtered a bit more, you end up getting choked up of all the rice and powder debris at the bottom of the cup. The Mango margaritas with Tajin is a must!! They're delish! Service was amazing and very friendly!! Music band was great! It took them a while to set up, but once they got going they had everyone dancing and singing. I really had a good time here with friends, but I'm not sure if I'd visit again just for food.
We were the only ones in the restaurant, which is surprising cause the food is soooo good, it’s as good as homemade might even be better! This is the second time I’ve been here and I wish I lived closer. Parking isn’t great but totally worth the walk. If you haven’t been, you are missing out, you feel like you are a part of the family when you eat here. Yolox Keep Up the good work the food is absolutely delicious!!!
