Best WLM Reviews

I love that you can get single items of their French toast and pancakes so you can have a variety. The red velvet french toast was my favorite. Also had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes and nutty monkey cake pancakes. Both were okay. The toppings on each were delicious but the pancakes themself are a little dry and bland. I love how they bring you a carafe of water. Very European. Also love that you can get pure maple syrup but the syrup doesn't taste like it is pure maple syrup. The service was not great. Took a very long time once seated but then the food did come quick but after food came the server never came back to check on the table. She was very pleasant just not attentive (I went on a weekday at 1 and wasn't very busy). The hot chocolate wasn't hot at all and didn't taste very sweet either.
Food was okay. No complaints on the menu it’s self. If your Looking for a place to go to eat breakfast and has options; I would say yes.
Looking for tasty and a breakfast experience than not necessarily your first choice.
Their house made hot sauce was good.
We were visiting from out of town and, after reading mixed reviews, were uncertain about whether to give this place a try. However, after looking over the menu, we liked what we saw and decided to stop by for breakfast one morning while in Dallas.
We were seated quickly—about a five-minute wait—and greeted warmly. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere.
We ordered the oat milk horchata cold brew, West Coast crepes with cheesy grits, sausage links, and a slice of very berry French toast. When I first tasted the horchata cold brew, it was surprisingly different—it had a flavor that reminded me of Fireball, which was not what I expected. As much as I love horchata, I wasn’t able to finish it.
Then the food arrived. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. Despite not having to wait long for our food, everything was cold—not just lukewarm, but cold. I was hoping for a warm, cheesy bowl of grits, but instead, I got bland, cold grits. Both the grits and the crepes lacked flavor, and we had to add salt to try to improve them. However, due to the temperature, it was still unappetizing. The only item that had any flavor was the French toast slice.
Sadly, based on our experience, I can’t recommend this place.
In town visiting I found this spot seen it looked like a nice brunch spot and it did not upset at. The atmosphere was nice we got placed on the waiting list and was seated within 10min. We order a few different things along with some mimosa’s those were good all the food was nice no complaints at all. The server was nice and friendly Oder was right. I also appreciated how the manager was walking around to make sure things were fine as well as with everyone else in the restaurant. They also validated my parking. ???? Im a big fan of good customer service. I was happy about my experience here thank you we will be back.
The classic Eggs Benedict is excellent, and the staff really care about the customers and the food. I was brought the wrong order by mistake, and not wanting to make a fuss, I just ate. Halfway through, the owner/manager brought me another entire breakfast (the correct eggs Benedict) because he wanted me to enjoy my meal and get exactly what I wanted.
They also gave me free coffee and a discount, which I really didn’t deserve. Excellent food, even better people.
Not a Mom & Pop, but the food was good. I would have to guess mostly prepared by still had a good flavor. Prices do reflect the portions and the service was good considering how busy they were. Could use bigger coffee cups if I were to find something negative to say.
Sunday morning before heading back home and we stopped here (we don't have this place where I'm from). I was totally disappointed. I hate giving bad reviews and try to look for the positive but no I can't here. I get it was Sunday afternoon and crowded, but service was slow, there wasn't enough table settings when we were sat and had to ask another hostess for some and with 4 people at a table you would think more than 1 carafe of water would be on our table. I had the avocado toast which included cream cheese, smoked salmon fries capers onions and tomatoes. I also order a side of scrambled eggs that didn't come out with my meal.
There was a scant amount of cream cheese on my toast and as I got to my third and last piece of toast I decided to just eat the toppings as a was not about to travel 4 hours with salmon toast lol. So as I was eating (and had already handed payment to our waitress) I noticed something moving on my plate...it was an ant. And not a regular size ant but a Texas size one. I wanted to throw up. There's no telling how many more might have been in my food or others for that reason. Poor quality control and expedition of service. I will never return. $20 for ant toast and 2 scrambled eggs. No thank you!
The ambience of the restaurant was cute and in an artsy district... parking is terrible. But I guess that's a Dallas thing lol
Tried it first the first time with friends from out of town I had the banana bread French toast. Might sound corny but it was life changing. Without a doubt the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. I absolutely recommend giving it a try.
