Best WLM Reviews

Always a terrific meal. There are multiple half price rolls from 3 to 5 for happy hour. This is yet another fine restaurant from the Macnellies group. Fuji used to be my favorite sushi place in town, with them closed it's now Yokozuna.
'Yokozuna' in definition is the ultimate title for sumo wrestlers and this is the exact atmosphere that you get at this Yokozuna Sushi Restaurant. The ambience is a modern twist on an open Japanese restaurant.
This restaurant is very popular and even at open (11am) there were 6 tables waiting for the doors to open.
The food is very good! From unique Sushi roll specials, sashimi, pork belly dishes, poke bowls, signature cocktails and so much more - if you like Asian cuisine then you will like Yokozuna.
Highly recommend from any occasion!
Didn’t go for the Sushi
We don’t really care for it anyway. Their online menu includes some good looking appetizers, soups, salads and entrees. That’s what got us in the door.
The inside of the restaurant is bright with an attractive modern décor. Overall the food (what we had and the descriptions of the food on the menu) impressed me as a trendy, Asian fusion, sushi restaurant. The service was average.
We had the Thai Green Curry, General Tso’s Chicken and started the meal with an order of Roasted Pork Crispy Spring rolls. The Thai Green Curry had a mild curry / coconut milk flavors and with variety of vegetables, including fresh slices of mild Fresno peppers. The General Tso’s Chicken was very different than what is typically served in a Chinese restaurant with the chicken being heavily breaded and smothered in a syrupy spicy sauce. This was more of a chicken, vegetable, rice stir fry with a spicy chili sauce. It too had the Fresno pepper slices and the plenty of Thai dried hot chili peppers. They had the fire in them, but if you don’t eat them this is a very mild dish.
The very best part of the meal was the Roasted Pork Crispy Spring Rolls. By far the best spring rolls we have ever had. They were served with a soy chili sauce that complemented them perfectly. The chili sauce was wonderful; the spring rolls were delicious.
Everything we ordered here tasted delicious. The food quality was impeccable, and the service was great. We ordered veggie fried rice, sweet potatoes tempura , and tempura shrimp rolls. Everything was excellent.
Pork Belly Ramen
Rich, flavorful broth with tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly and perfectly cooked noodles. A comforting and indulgent meal.
Orange Chicken
Crispy chicken coated in a tangy, sweet orange sauce. Well-balanced flavors and juicy interior make it a delightful dish.
Volcano Sushi Roll
Fresh ingredients topped with a spicy, creamy sauce. Dynamic flavors and textures make it an exciting sushi choice.
Great menu selection - sushi, ramen, poke bowls, and entrees. I had a miso soup, Ika salad, and their featured roll, Ahi Zest Roll. Miso was delicious with fresh ingredients. The Ika salad was okay, but the squid was definitely from a can and not fresh. The Ahi Zest roll was a fun flavor twist of lemon and ginger with a touch of jalapeño heat. My only complaint was that the salmon was on the thin side and got lost in the flavor of everything else going on. Definitely the best sushi I’ve had in Tulsa!
I only go there for their Hot Mess Signature rolls. Never knew Eel sauce tasted so good. We also tried several types of sushi, loved them all. Mangolian Beef was amazing. Sumo fried rice is also a good option.
Great service and food is always good ????
Highly recommended.
40 minute wait.. worth it though. Great waitress great food. Sweetie got the Route 66 roll and I got the tried and true Cali roll. Appetizer of the pan seared gyoza with chili soy sauce.. hot! I also got the Catalina wine mixer with red wine.. nice and fruity on a warm day. Good meal overall.
