Best WLM Reviews
What an incredible experience. It was expensive but worth it, the food, the fire, the flair. The ambiance the service, it was just mind blowingly good.
The food was incredible!!!! Delicious, cooked in front of you! The sushi was equally as well thought out and Delicious. The seasonal autumn roll is probably the best sushi Ive ever eaten and it was a bizarre combo asparagus, crab, cream cheese, sweet potato....who knew. The soup and salad were also as equally shockingly amazing. Such an impressive quality experience!
This was our first time visiting and the food was phenomenal. House sake was great. The host, server, and chef were all very personable. You can tell the workers here love their job. As a first date night out in South Carolina, I would totally recommend this restaurant! Definitely an amazing and lighthearted experience and atmosphere.
The restaurant’s interior is stunning, with a Japanese-inspired design that creates a unique and inviting atmosphere. They also have a live grill for hibachi, which adds to the experience, though we chose to sit on the other side. The sushi was absolutely fantastic, fresh and flavorful.
For our entrée, we ordered the YOKOSO dinner, which included filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, and teriyaki chicken for $42—you can share it with an extra person for just $6.50. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the food was excellent.
Our server was very sweet and attentive, striking a balance between friendliness and professionalism, although at times it felt a bit formal. Still, it was far better than dealing with impolite service. For dessert, we had the raspberry cheesecake, which was decent—not extraordinary, but a nice finish to the meal.
Overall, the food, ambiance, and service made for a memorable dining experience, and we’d definitely come back!
This was the best hibachi experience I have ever had! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing! Especially the “night sky ceiling.”
My husband and I went with our 2 boys. The chef we had was “T” and he was better than I could have expected. He was a fun and perfect for someone with curious kids. My boys ask a lot of questions and he happily answered everything with a smile. The food itself was delicious as well and we didn’t expect such large potions , but we’re happy to bring them home for left overs.
The server checked in regularly to refill my husband’s drink without being over bearing, and she also put all the food in Togo boxes for us!
Overall just an outstanding experience, and we will definitely be going back! So happy to find our new favorite hibachi restaurant!
Everything tasted great but the build on the sushi was not user friendly. I didn't think the rice was "sticky" enough. And my specialty roll was more salmon salad then roll.
I don’t care what nobody says even if I’m in South Florida right now living here. I would damn sure take the three hours just to go back to this restaurant it may be pricey, but the service is good. The food is good. It’s fresh cooked right in front of you. Coming back to South Carolina Christmas time and I might take a visit just To have another delicious meal again and let me not get started on the rice portion that yummy pile of goodness is so thick and big and tastes so good with that. Damn Yum Yum sauce, especially with whatever meat you’re getting with it. Just takes you back a good bit I would definitely recommend this hibachi restaurant to anybody????????????
I have been coming here when in town for work for 12 years or so! ALWAYS, ALWAYS a great experience. Today I asked the sushi chef to make something he had never made before. Something he may had thought would be good but never had the opportunity to put together. My only requests were no escolar and no squid as I don’t like them. Well he knocked it out of the park! Tempura shrimp, tempura asparagus and crab meat salad inside topped with tuna jalapeňo and mayo!
Sad I missed long time friend Chef Albert this trip but the staff did not disappoint as always. Photo attached. The Green Dragon roll was excellent as well. Cant wait until next visit.
From the moment we entered Yokosuka Japanese, we were warmly greeted by front staff and seated. Maddie met our party of eight with a genuine smile and welcoming demeanor. Throughout the evening, she demonstrated a remarkable level of attentiveness, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Maddie's professionalism and friendly disposition created a pleasant and inviting atmosphere, making us feel truly valued as customers. The chef who prepared our meal, aptly named "fun size." Not only did he showcase incredible culinary skills, but he also entertained and engaged us with his lively personality. His passion for his craft was evident in every dish he presented, and each bite was a delightful journey of flavors and textures. The food was undoubtedly superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience. We were celebrating two birthdays, and the personalized attention and thoughtful gestures made our celebration truly memorable. The ambiance, combined with the impeccable service and delectable food, created a truly unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come.
We look forward to visiting Yokosuka Japanese again and recommending your restaurant to friends and family who seek an unforgettable culinary adventure.
