This place never disappoints! I hadn’t been here in over a year now and decided to the spicy pork bowl with steamed rice! It tasted just how I remembered, the pork was perfectly seasoned and the rice combined with it was delicious. For the appetizer, I got the “Addicting cucumber”. This cucumber isn’t actually spicy like the description says, but it does have a tangy sauce that doesn’t take away the taste of the freshness of the cucumber. The service was quick, the ladies in the back were friendly and I was only able to eat about 3/4 of the big bowl. As for the drink, this is where my love for Taro boba began. The drink tastes like after you leave your fruity pebbles soaking in the milk for a few minutes ????
My friend said she had been dreaming of the Black Garlic Ramen from here for 2 years. She had it 2 years ago on her birthday. So I said "Okay, let's go." We ordered several items off of the menu. She got her Black Garlic Ramen. She said it was good, but not as good as what she had 2 years ago. It was good, but not great. I expected a little more flavor wise. I have heard a lot of good things about this place. We ordered boba tea. They put a tiny, little scoop of boba pearls. We had the Bomb Bomb Shrimps. Which were good. We also the Pork Shumai dumplings. They were okay. My friend had the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, and I had the Truffle Shoyu Ramen. The Black Garlic Ramen had a good flavor. Mine was not as good as hers. I also had the Cheesecake Cream Brulee. That was definitely good. Everything is brought out in "to go" containers. That makes it nice for taking leftovers home. I may have to try this place again. I need to find the dish that makes this place great instead of just good.
Place is somewhat small, but the food was absolutely great. Ordered the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and the 10 hour curry with pork katsu. The ramen was really solid, and I absolutely LOVED the dried/crunchy garlic slices (they really elevated the broth). The 10 hour curry though was surprisingly the star of my meal there. You get a hearty portion, the katsu was fried to perfection. And then there’s the curry sauce, the perfect balance between sweet and savory that was fantastic to the last bite! Will definitely come back again when I’m in Wichita!
Very rich broth and great veggies options. The beef tongue option is a bit weird texture and taste.
Delicious!! Delano location doesn’t have much seating but food is still amazing. Delano made a large boba station inside.

Singularly one of the best places to eat in Wichita- regardless of your taste, they have something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to give your taste buds the delight of their lives’. I have never, and I mean NEVER had such impeccably amazing service throughout the entirety of a customer-restaurant relationship. This is a diamond in the rough. Parking is always a fun adventure in this area of downtown/Delano, but it’s well worth the walk… and you will need the exercise. A little food here goes a long way!
This place is weird! I should've left as soon as I walked in. Ordered food to be eaten there. It was packed in to go containers (so. much. plastic.) Went to 4 different tiny tables to find one that wasn't wobbly or with a tacky strip light blinding me. Assembled our Ramen bowls and could not eat it with the plastic utensils that were given. Asked for real silverware or a bigger spoon. I was told "this place is really only for carryout...." Yet, there were people awkwardly dining at the tiny tables and a sign on the register that said you were welcome to dine at a table! We tried to eat with the flimsy plastic silverware and decided it wasn't worth it... We paid $35 for food we couldn't eat. We left hungry and went to the Monarch!
