Best WLM Reviews

No frills joint serving up some of the BEST vegan ramen I've had. Don't expect fancy dining with candles and swan napkins. You order at the counter and pick a seat. It's these sneaky little hole in the wall joints that truly serve up the best food.
An unassuming restaurant- but the food was delicious. You have to order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We tried 3 different ramens- pork, chicken and vegetarian and they were all equally tasty. We plan to return. Highly recommended!
Really good Ramen! ????
Very flavorful! The chicken and pork were pretty tender!
Self-service place, pretty popular among locals, but since I had a much better ramen, I gave them only 4 stars. It is decent, hearty, but not just the best. But it filled the bill.
I was really hoping to give Yoko's a 5 star review, but it just didn't live up to what I was expecting. We had gone to Yokos when it first opened and it wasn't even on Google Maps yet back in like 2017/18. I'm pretty sure we liked it because I marked it down as a place to visit again.
We moved back to Utah and thought we'd give it a try. The sides were very tasty! The gyoza came out stuck together, which was new for me, but the crispy film between them was super yummy. The Buffalo wings were falling-off-the-bone delicious and they seemed to have removed one of the bones so it could slide off even easier. The staff was super friendly and the place had an overall good vibe.
But the broth... that's what took off the 2 stars for me. It was very dull in flavor and I dumped in my gyoza's soy sauce shoyu dip to boost the flavor a bit. The pork belly chashu was tender but the flavor was very muted as well. I felt so sad that it didn't live up to what I had hoped. I saw the reviews talking about how salty the broth was, which I'm assuming was from the salt shio ramen. We had the soy sauce shoyu ramen and maybe it has the opposite problem of not being salty enough. Whatever it is, I wish Yokos the best and hope they can perfect their broth!
Excellent Ramen! Nice little patio out front for outdoor dining as well.
I’ve been looking forward to trying this place for months. And I’m going to say I’m extremely disappointed.
I’ll start with the pros. The wings. They’re crispy, have a good amount of chicken and taste well.
The atmosphere is also very nice.
Cons. The menu. It’s small. I mean if you include the alcohol it’s large but there’s three ramen items?!
Going with the wings i want to talk about what I’m guessing is homemade ranch. Tasted nothing like ranch and is thick with veggies, it’s damn near a Cole slaw.
Now the ramen. I’ll say the chicken has good seasoning. That’s it. The broth was sooooooooo bland. I asked for chili oil because that’s usually the savior but look at the picture. It’s 97 percent oil and like a smidgen of chili. THAT IS NOT CHILI OIL. And it didn’t add much in terms of flavor or spice. And the hot sauce they had didn’t even save it. It was so lackluster. Now the noddles were okay but a little stiff. And the egg. Where have you had ramen where they give you a poached egg for your ramen. It was not it. The overall ramen experience was carried by the chicken but it does not make it worth it.
Ramen was good, but the pickle plate was definitely not worth the price. People working there ( at least the people I met) were not very friendly. No instructions on how to dine in, you have to ask them what to do.
