I had chicken yakisoba. It started out well. The rice and noodles were good. I had a lot more chicken than I expected.
It had too much sauce. It was drowning in it. It became overwhelming, and I threw the rest away.
I'd be open to coming back, though, to try the sushi.
Boyfriend loves the chicken teriyaki.
The people at the counter were very friendly.
I ordered large teriyaki chicken. And egg rolls. The chicken had a nice char. The sauce was very good.
We came here for lunch. The place was not busy in any way, only one other customer in the store with us. We both ordered the beef and chicken lunch bowl. We got our order and we were surprised because the rice on the bottom of the bowl was hot but the chicken and beef was cold. I brought our order back to the lady at the register and asked if they could reheat our order in the microwave and she asked what was wrong. I told her that the orders are cold. It took a few minutes but instead of microwaving to reheat, they re-made our order... meat was warm-ish and rice was hot.... not impressed
Don't get the chicken karage, it's not very good. The beef and chicken bowls are great.
The young lady at the register was UNWELCOMING, RUDE, and came off as PREJUDICE. I watch how she treated the other customers with kindness, but was cold and short with me (obviously because of my skin color). I will never support this location again. Yogis needs to work on their customer service if they expect to successfully run a business!
Food is delicious. Good sushi, Miso soup and potstickers! Service is good. My order is always correct. Can get delivered thru seamless or grubhub app or call in or use google postmates and pick up. Food usually prepared quickly. Popular local spot at dinner time. Good Japanese style food.
My sister and I usually love Yogi’s Grill. The one in the West Valley is really good and has a great atmosphere. This Yogi’s grill was the opposite. Firstly, it was a little grubby. Secondly, we ordered shrimp bowls and almost all the shrimp still had the vein with feces running through the back. The shrimp that was edible tasted dry, burnt, and rubbery. The rest of the bowl was fine though, so we asked for a refund for the difference in cost between a shrimp bowl and a veggie bowl. The store clerk gave us a full refund for one of the bowls instead and at first we thought that was just them offering good customer service. We threw away the shrimp and continued eating the rest of the bowl. Then the clerk came up to us and said that because we got a refund for the full bowl we should have thrown away the entire bowl. That just seemed very rude to me, especially since they offered originally to make a replacement veggie bowl, but we declined since we didn’t want to waste the perfectly fine veggie bowls we already had(without the shrimp).
Though the food was good at a fair price, the rude employees and the dirty conditions in the restaurant made for a ‘less than’ dining experience. I had the sushi and I would go again if they cleaned the restaurant and hired a friendly, more customer focused staff.
