First time eating here and enjoyed my meal. The broth of the shrimp udon was just right, not too sweet or salty. I surprisingly enjoyed all the vegetables that were in it, too, although the carrot could've been flash cooked a little longer to make it a little softer. The shrimp tempura was also good, and so were the rolls we ordered. The fish's texture was good for previously frozen.
They only make rolls, no nigiri, which we were actually looking for, but at least we're satisfied with this.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere was calm and welcoming. There's a few booths, and other table settings to accommodate indoor dining. There's fountain drinks, a tv (but no sound), and music softly playing. One restroom to accommodate workers and patrons.
Solid Place highly recommended by family. Was not disappointed they have a big selection something for everybody lots of variations some good up sizing available. We had the chicken beef and tuna. The sauces were great. Portions were quite large. You've had basically a second meal for leftovers. Highly recommend
They have the best udon noodle soup. We have been eating here twice while on vacation in the area. I would definitely recommend that you try it. The shrimp tempura was also very good. Large portions and served Hot. Keep up with the good work. See you the next time we are in town!
So freaking good and FAST! Great customer service too. The only small thing was that they don’t give out more teriyaki sauce. Just one extra packet per customer…
Used to like this place. Called in to-go order and ordered “chicken Udon”. So when I got home the meal only had vegetables. Mind you this was 30 min before closing.
This is why I dont tip! Wish they would take pride in their job! Lol
They have been messing up orders lately! Dont go there. Go to another location! What a bunch of goof balls, to be nice!
I have to admit this post is a little bit nostalgic. I used to live in Mesa Arizona and on a recent visit had the chance to go back to yogis grill. The staff here is always very polite, friendly and fast. The food is always fresh and made-to-order. It was just as good as I always remember. The bathrooms are clean and the seating area is well-maintained. I had the dragon roll, Las Vegas roll and regular teriyaki chicken all white meat. It never fails to satisfy.
My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible
I guess I got spoilt off the Yogi's off 16th st in Phoenix because everything here tastes different. The katsu was better, but everything else was worse. My sushi was particularly bad. It tasted like old grocery store sushi, something that never happened after going to the other location weekly for the past 4 years. I don't think I'll be returning to this location.
Great location if you're a fan of Chicken Katsu! I've ordered this meal many times at other locations, this place does it right. Service was great and the restaurant clean. Highly recommended.
