Best WLM Reviews
This place is fantastic! I got the Kirby sandwich (pastrami and corned beef on rye with Swiss cheese) without coleslaw. The sandwich was great. I got the chipotle ranch on the side and it's very good; flavorful, but not hot. The potato salad was good, but it was sweet. My father got the chile cheese burrito (sausage, egg and potato with chile con carne and cheese on top). It was also excellent. We will definitely be back.
We've been here several times, and it's clear that this is a community staple. Solid waffles, pancakes, bagels, and eggs every time. I did order oatmeal once and would not recommend it. It was okay, and they put good toppings on it, but the texture isn't very nice, and they have much better offerings. My father in law swears by their pancakes. Solid spot.
The service was great and fast, and the location had good parking and was clean. The only reason taking one star from the restaurant would be for the meat quality on the country fried steak. It was chewy and noticed how much breading was on it versus actual meat. The flavor was great, but would wish they tried a different meat or cut. The rest of the food was good. Will not rule out coming back here on another occasion and trying something new!
Lots of food for a great value, and all of it was a great. Definitely gets busy, but we didn’t have an issue finding a table. They do a great job of moving people through and getting tables cleaned quickly. Enjoyed all the bagel options and spreads
I didn't try this because the woman taking my order was RUDE. At my turn, I ordered oatmeal & apparently she asked if I wanted the fruits but I'm deaf in one ear & I didn't hear her. I said what was that & sort of lean towards her. I wasn't sure what she said the second time, I said what? & told her I'm hard of hearing. She then says "f r u I t s, fruits, do you want any? I said yes & told her I can spell, just couldn't hear well. She then says " we're very busy". I said hello?!? I just got up here. It's probably been only a minute for that exchange. She then said anything else? I said yes, coffee & water, & raisin bagel if they have it. They did but didn't order it. That's all she was doing, taking orders. She gives me my order slip, then I had to wait in line for the order to be placed. 2 people ahead of me. Go figure, what's the rush? Needless to say, I wasn't in a mood to stand in line by then so I left, Lighten their load. Went to Starbucks a few doors down. Woman's attitude was not welcoming.
Not a table open in the house. Packed and still gaining more customers every second. Lined out the door. It took us 4 minutes from the door to the lady took our order. Another lady handing menus out as we approach the door. Six minutes past the door to the cashier. We both ordered the french toast, mine was stuffed and the wife had french toast platter. Neither of us was disappointed. The toast was hot while the fresh fruit was chilling cold. Eggs with steam coming off of them while sausage was mouth watering with flavor. While in line wife pointed out that even though we have never been here, and it is packed on a Saturday morning at 10am, we will try this pace out several more times. Five stars for every category in a breakfast place. Thank you.
Was severely disappointed by my experience here. I came here after hearing great reviews and what I heard vs what I experienced was on the opposite ends of the spectrum. The bagels were hard, and the quality of the food that I got was well below my expectations and I was sorely disappointed with my experience. There was no flavor and the taste was quite bland for a 4+ star restaurant. In addition, the ambience was not great and the vibes overall were quite unappealing.
We have loved coming here for breakfast bagels for 9+ years, but on this last visit, the cream cheese was different and in a bad way. It was chalky and unpleasant. French toast with strawberries and bananas is excellent. Bagels are excellent. Often crowded, but they have indoor and outdoor seating options.
