This was our first time at Jellystone Park Golden Valley and we had the best time bonding with our family and enjoying this beautiful place! We have three kids ages ranging from 6months to 4yrs and staying in a sycamore cabin made our stay so comfortable and fun! We had all the comforts of home but still felt like we were in the great outdoors! Renting a golf cart was the best decision, everyone loved it and it was always refreshing to drive it around on a hot day. The pool was so fun! There is so much to explore and experience. The park is also very well kept and clean! We will definitely be back and will bring family and friends with us :)
Excellent weekend trip! Friendly staff, fun activities for the kids - big and small! We did just about everything we could - pool, mini golf, Wibit, SUP, the haunted Halloween forest, mountain coaster, laser tag and crafts. All were so fun and we would recommend doing everything! We stayed in an Hickory Forest Cabin, and it was absolutely perfect for our family of 4, including a preteen and teenager.|You’ll definitely want to rent a golf cart, the park is huge and very hilly. We brought bikes and they were completely useless! |Driving the golf cart around to see the views at night is a must. Such a beautiful place.|Highly recommend, we can’t wait to come back and bring friends!
We absolutely love Yogi Bear at Golden Valley! Our family had the best time during our stay. The coaster is simply amazing—definitely a highlight of our trip! We stayed in a cabin with a jacuzzi, which was fantastic, and the views from up there were breathtaking.
We celebrated our daughter’s graduation from daycare, and she had an absolute blast! The water obstacle course was another favorite for all of us. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this campground for family fun!
This Yogi Bear is the best we’ve ever been to! My daughter’s birthday is in the fall which is the off season. We had no idea some attractions wouldn’t be running. We really wanted a visit from the bears but didn’t know about the 48 hour rule. The wonderful employees made it happen for our girl anyway!! Definitely will be coming back everything is so beautiful here Rose and Jessica were absolutely amazing!
This was our second experience at a Jellystone park but our first time here, I am highly impressed by the size of the park and how clean it is. Staff was great, I appreciate Scott’s help finding our cabin.
This trip did come with a couple disappointments… biggest one being the “quiet time” being at 11pm! Seemed very late for a campground that is based around kids. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old and unfortunately the cabin next to us were so loud which lead to waking my kids. I really believe it should be 9pm, most people coming to this park have little children and we all know how hard it is to get them back to sleep.
I was super excited that this location had on site dinning, but sadly was closed for the season. I did find that information on there website after searching but I do wish it would have been mentioned when booking. But we do look forward to trying them out next time!
We brought our 6 month old over mother's day. It was honestly one of the best trips ever and we’ll probably make a couple trips a year now. The waterzone was super baby friendly, she was able to sit and splash and didn’t want to get out. She also loved the play sets and jumping pillow. My husband and I loved riding the coaster and their buffet breakfast was amazing! Super excited to bring her back now that she’s a little older and walking. The camp sites were perfect and not too close to each other. The bathrooms were super clean and we were actually excited to take showers every morning. Super friendly staff as well!
These people are some of the most kind hearted people I have ever met. For the last 4 weeks, my National Guard unit has been assisting with the Chimney Rock mission, and they opened their camp grounds to us out of the kindness of their hearts. The army didn't pay for anything, they just let us stay for free. They fed us, housed us, and showed the most kindness that any person could ever hope to find. I will definitely be coming back to vacation with my family!!!!!
We stayed here during the summer in a cabin. The cabin itself was nice, clean and spacious for our family of 4. Complaints would be that the heating and air was a bit lacking for the size of the cabin and that the unit had to run constantly and it still was hot in the bedroom and loft areas. It was also very loud and made it hard to get a good nights sleep. The employees were nice and attentive for the most part. Complaints would be that the restaurant next to the pool was out of almost everything we ever tried to order from pizza to burgers to chicken to ice cream, etc. With this place being a 30 minute drive from the closest restaurant or grocery store that could be a big problem for some. This Jellystone Park is located in an absolutely beautiful area. We loved it. Only complaint would be that I had no cell phone service the entire length of our visit except for one time when we went up on top of the hill to the obstacle course. Wifi was good. We had great weather for the length of our stay but quickly realized that had we experienced a rainy day there would have been virtually nothing to do. Would be great if they could implement some type of arcade, bowling alley, skating rink, or other indoor facility for rainy or cooler weather days. I would also highly recommend a golf cart rental or bring a bike/scooter.
