We camped this past weekend in our RV and everyone had a great time and enjoyed all the Halloween activities offered. Sam in the activity center had her staff on task and working extra hard to accommodate everyone. Sam’s work didn’t go unnoticed for sure. Hayden was very helpful with laser tag and let my family members handle a laser gun to see if they weren’t too heavy for them to handle at their age so next time we come they will definitely be playing laser tag.
The nice young lady at the concessions window in the pool area was very nice, customer oriented and helpful. We were there in June for Father’s Day weekend and she was also very helpful with all our food orders and requests.
We enjoy bringing our RV and camping at Yogi with the family!!
My husband and I took our 3 year old son for the first time! We are so impressed with the beautiful grounds, kids activities, and adorable cabins! Our son loved the water park, bouncing pillow, mining station, putt putt, and crafts center the most! He also really enjoyed the train ride around the park to see the Halloween decorations! We are going to make this an annual trip! 10/10
Great fun in a great space. Could be perfect, but en route to being a dumpster fire. Amenities are good fun, activities are a bit weak. The amount of ebikes and scooters made it a bit uncomfortable, we only saw one crash. Maybe was great once, but is so poorly maintained that popping close to $900 for a weekend of broken AC and a bathroom that smelled of sewage just seals the deal. The maintenance crew is plenty, getting through on the phone is difficult. Playground has broken limbs and burnt boards in the play area. This was our second and likely last visit. The first visit they put us in a cabin that had caught fire, was repainted with caked on paint and all the smoke damage was seeping through. Second trip was sewer bathroom and ants got into our kitchen food. Hopefully they are making enough money to fix it all proper, let me know when they do.
Had a great time even with some not so great weather most of our time, was plenty for my son to do. Everyone that worked the Rec hall was super friendly and accommodating and bears around often. Facilities outside the hall were very nice and clean, pool restrooms not so much but I'm sure is hard to keep them up. Definitely could use more trashcan's around the park, and update the put put golf course but overall a laid back, safe fun time.
Halloween weekend was a busy time, but the workers handled it like a champ. Amy and Cheryl worked extremely hard in the concession stand. The crowd never stopped. There wasn’t ever a moment in time that they were not busy and they continued to serve each customer. I was impressed! Also, Sam was so sweet. We missed the pumpkin seed planting and she took us to plant them anyway. She also helped us several other times throughout our stay. Jellystone definitely has some amazing staff members!
We had an amazing time at Jellystone! This was our first experience and we already plan to make this a family tradition. The cabins were cute and perfect for our family of five. I love that it was pet friendly and all the planned activities. The kids had an absolute blast and we're looking forward to next year!
Since this park is conveniently close to Houston, we were easily able to pull our travel trailer there for a long weekend. The staff was flexible with our reservation, allowing us to switch RV spots when we arrived so we could take advantage of a shade tree. The amenities were fine, and I guess as clean as you can expect. We enjoyed the ice cream shop, and the swim up bar. I love that you can bring your own food and drinks into the park as well. Our kids are 5 and 7 so the smaller size of the water park works fine for our family, but I think it’d be a bit boring for older kids. The main complaint we had was regarding the immaturity of the water park workers. While waiting in line for the big red slide, we found ourselves in the middle of a heated argument between the teenage employee and a group of teenagers in line for the slide. They were yelling racial slurs at each other. I fully support teens getting jobs, but I think they need more supervision and guidance so they can learn how to be responsible and professional in the workplace. There was also huge inconsistencies in the employees enforcing the slide rules which kept resulting in injuries. Some of the teen workers would let the kids completely disregard the slide rules, and allow them to go down in groups, or one right after the other. There were at least two bloody noses on the blue slide while we were there due to this. They then had to close that slide down to clean it, which was disappointing for our kids.
The cabin we stayed in was extremely hot we ended up leaving and didn't complete our stay. The pizza was really good however the second day I stood in line for over 40 minutes only to get to the window and be told they weren't making anymore food ????. With my child with autism we had to leave and find him pizza he was having a cow the whole ride. Other than that it's very neat and family oriented. I will go again however we will not do an overnight stay.
