First time staying at Glen Elis and stayed for Halloween weekend. We had a great time with my group of family and friends that camped also. We had travel trailers and cabin rentals everyone had a great time. I was so excited to decorate and loved showing off our site. So many families enjoyed the pirate ship I created! I can’t wait to come back next year during the summer and check out pool and water park and river.
We had the most amazing experience! We even booked our next trip before leaving.
We brought our travel trailer, but had friends staying in the cabins. We have been to many campgrounds but were so impressed with how well cared for everything was. The cabins were spotless and impeccable, not a piece of trash anywhere to be seen, and staff work hard for each event or at the pool to ensure tidiness and a great time for all. Each staff person we encountered was enthusiastic, happy to help, and engaging with our kiddos. Camper sites are large and comfortable. It’s a stones throw away from Story Land and so many other attractions of Northern New Hampshire like North Conway, winding rivers to swim and fish, family hiking such as Diana’s baths, and more. We never wanted to leave and can’t wait to go back!
We had a great time at Yogi Bear this summer. We stayed 3 nights in our camper. Our site was spacious and quiet, the pool area was amazing the whole family had fun. Plenty of things for the kids to do. We have a 3 and 4 year old and they loved all of it. We also enjoyed floating the River as well! We have already booked a trip for next year! Highly recommend
Would def stay here again! Upon arrival there was no power on the entire campground but yoga bear did their best and came around with extra wood for fires and blankets! It did make the camping experience very real for us, which was great! The cabins were clean, cozy, and rustic! And we loved all the amenties! We can’t wait to visit this summer !
My family and I stayed in June for the first time this year to gather with family. The campground was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the tent site was beautiful being right on the river. The kids always had a fun activity to go to even with the rain. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We will be back soon!
We had a family reunion at Jellystone Park - Glen Ellis in August and it was absolutely awesome! We stayed in cabin 3 with windows that looked directly out at the trampoline. It was perfect for the everyone, and mini golf and pools were nearby, too, making it the perfect location. The kids are already planning our next trip back and we can’t wait! Even on days when it rained, we loved being in the cabin and playing games. There was no need to leave the campsite, with everything a kid could want right outside the cabin, it was a dream vacation!
My husband, son, and I stayed here for a mini vacation while I was 6 months pregnant. We were only an hour from home too. It was supposed to be a nice vacation for us. Unfortunately I ended up with a pregnancy complication and ended up the hospital. My husband was going to leave 2 days earlier than anticipated thinking we would never get a refund and understandably so. However, they offered him a full refund. I was stable so I told my husband and son to stay and enjoy the time together, so they did. The staff were so incredibly nice to him and my son during this very hard, stressful time and beyond accommodating. The cabins are so nice and clean. The activities for kids is honestly amazing. It’s pricey but totally worth it. We got to have our dogs in the cabin which was a plus as a lot of campgrounds don’t allow dogs in cabins but this one does! The pools and water park are great too. My son had so much fun. We definitely plan to return in the future.
We camped at Glen Ellis for years, the location of this campground is absolutely gorgeous nestled between the Ellis and Saco rivers close proximity to North Conway, Storyland and Mount Washington.||Yogi bear is incredibly overpriced for what it offers. It is cheaper to stay at a campsite or cabin at Disney World than this park. We also don’t need to worry about black mold in the bathroom or bringing our own linens. We stayed for 3 nights and I was astounded by the lack of rainy day activities for the kids as it rained most of our trip. They just built a new covered area for activities but only host a couple of events a day inside. Most activities are an additional fee as if the site fees aren’t high enough. You can’t even bring candy bars to candy bar bingo. Talk about nickel and diming you to death. There is a large splash pad/ shallow pool area that gets very over crowded. ||One thing that made my stomach turn was the glow parade. There is a covered wagon ride that FLIES through the park- they claim it is 5mph but there is no way. It is dark, the golf carts follow and the bikes are all over the place, we saw a young kid get clotheslined going around a tree into a campsite (probably because he couldn’t see the path) they are lucky someone hasn’t gotten seriously injured yet but it’s bound to happen.||If it wasn’t for the incredible cost (2000+ for 3 nights) I wouldn’t be as shocked at the lack of facilities. There are other places that are way better value for money.
