Best WLM Reviews

My family stayed at the Jelly Stone at the end of October. It is nice and clean. Down side is it sits right by the train tracks with crossing at the front gate. Trains come in all hours of the night. With it being out of season there’s not much for kids to do. There isn’t an actual playground for them to burn off some energy.
Enjoyed an off-season stay during the week of Halloween. Though there wasn’t much to do, the staff did their best to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and it was rather peaceful and pleasant having the whole park to ourselves. It was a nice, affordable break from the city.
This place is by far the best !
Security here was absolutely awesome. I have 2 young nephews and there was enough activities for them to do. It's a closed community camping site. Adults had to wear wrist bands . Quiet time is reasonable hours. It's was just all around a GREAT place. My family is a tribe in its self, when one goes , we all go. And we will definitely add this place on our yearly trips.
Overall a fun place. All the complaints on other reviews were unseen by us. Our cabin #17 was a fun little place. Zero issues with the water park. The putt-putt is a little run down, but we still made it fun. Ya the trains, but not a problem at night. If you come expecting the Hilton you'll be disappointed, if you come knowing that the place is a little older and accept it, you'll have a blast. Would come back for sure.
I give this place a 10/10 on staff friendly nice and a 10/10 on cleanliness of the place entirely. I really enjoyed the fact that they had a variety of options to do while you are here from the shop inside that had everything you might have forgotten including a bathing suit, to the food court for the most delicious pizza you’ll ever eat, to the small pool outside and putt putt golf (that is free), to the main attraction of play time on one of the many water islands available along with water volleyball, kayaking and life vests if you need it!! It was an amazing time spent with my babies here!!! Definitely recommend taking a trip if you can!!
The cabins weren't what they claimed to be. We rented three total. One of the cabins had roaches. There was no activity for the children. The mini golf course had dog poop on it. The big blow up obstacle course in the water had black slime all over it. We were told that no dogs were allowed but when we went down to the water the lifeguard station had this little dog that jumped on the kids and knocked them down. If you want to play volleyball out of the water on the volleyball court you need to bring your own volleyball because when you asked him for the volleyball they give you a soccer ball. The canoes and life jackets are free but they don't tell you that you have to find that out on day three if you stay that long. The staff is rude up in the main office. I have stayed at several of the Jellystone Parks over the years with my children and grandchildren by far this is the worst one I've ever stayed at and every year they look forward to going to a different Jellystone. I can assure you we will not return to this one.
I have been to many Jellystone Parks and this one was absolutely horrible. The staff was unable to answer the most basic questions. The lock to our cabin never locked. We reported it and still didn't work. There were flies all through the cabin and the cabin was not clean. When I reported these things to the front desk, the girls just rolled their eyes and said ok. We had a towel stolen from our cabin - right off the deck. We also rented a golf cart and it just stopped working(battery still had 40% charge) and we had to push it to the rental place. We were given a smaller golf cart in exchange. They did not even offer a discount or change in price.
If you chose to go there please know that they rent day passes and the people who get the day passes are free to roam the entire property without oversight.
Just a horrible experience.
Enjoyed a day at the park with family. Didn’t stay in any cabins but enjoyed the lake a activities. Wish the place wasn’t so poor that they could afford to get the lifeguards a bullhorn or teach them how to speak up instead of getting mad when you can’t hear them just yelling at you. Wish there was better options for food since it’s extra to bring in your own. Still a pretty fun place overall.
