I ordered two hot dogs with the chili sauce because I heard they were supposed to be the best the hot dogs were very small and it looks like someone just wiped chili sauce on the roll with a napkin there was like no sauce on it whatsoever it was very dry... for being advertising as having the best Secret Sauce you would think the hot dog would have sauce all over it
I've been eating Yocco's since I was a kid, so there's a lot of nostalgia for me going there. I still enjoy their hot dogs and always get the Yocco dog—a well-done Medford hot dog on a steamed roll, with mustard, chopped onions, and topped with Yocco's chili sauce. It's a classic that never disappoints. I make it a point to stop by for one of these almost every time I drive through the area. Highly recommend for a taste of local tradition!
Saw the sign on the highway and had to try them out. Huge line. Drive-Thru busy also. Line moved quick. The people of Allentown seem to love this place. Although they did not look the best they sure tasted good. At 1.99 it sure beats Nathan's 5.99 dog- Hands down. Personally I am a mustard and Kraut guy so it was a little disappointing to not have that option. Cash Only.
The food here was great. The actual location is cleaner than the one next to Cedar Beach but it’s a larger location and even has a drive-thru.
The parking lot was a little tricky the first time I saw it because there’s dividers for the drive-thru and diagonal lines for parking with what looked like arrows in every direction. What helped me was following the arrows.
Got there and the dining room was closed. Most likely not enough available help. Had to order through drive up window with an order for 7 people. Not fun for the people behind us. However the service for us was still prompt and accurate.
Food wise the Yocco hot dogs are no where near as good (rolls, sauce, and dogs) as they were. When we got to the hotel they were pretty dry tasting. Steaks still the same.
Was looking for a quick lunch spot before heading to NY and decided to try Yocco's after seeing signs on I-78.
This is a 'CASH ONLY' place.
There are several locations and this location has a cool, retro vibe with a drive thru too.
Staff were super welcoming, restaurant & bathrooms were really clean and the service was surprisingly quick given everything was made to order.
We got two Yocco's Hot Dogs with everything, a beef sausage sandwich with everything and a small (2 pieces) order of pierogies.
The beef hot dogs and the beef sausage were cooked perfectly with the great balance of seasonings, toppings and condiments (hot dog with onion, mustard & Yocco chili sauce and sausage with stewed onions, sweet peppers, mustard & Yocco chili sauce) so the bread held up well.
The pierogies were fried to golden perfection - crispy, salty crust with warm, creamy potato filling inside.
There's also burger, chicken, fish, steak sandwiches and options for kids as well.
So glad we stopped, my picky
hot dog loving husband declared Yocco's the best hot dog he's ever had.
Me, husband and my child went to enjoy some hotdogs, so one of the servers at the counter when I get there I ask to order and she just ignore and gave me a rhetoric look ? after place the order with other server I went to pay and the same lady that was at the first site she was at the register she took my order for drinks and took my payments she not even said thanks or something she was so rude all the time , however I highly recommend the owner to re trained this person .
Customer just go there to enjoy their food paying this services .
Hot dogs are delicious but skinny so get the double dog. Sausage was good too with a little bit of heat to it. Perogies were perfectly fried and lightly salted ????????????
