Perogies, fries and A-Treat birth beer!
Was highly recommended so we stopped. Employees were very animated and engaged. Customers told us how much they love all the food offerings.
Had to have the famous hot dog with fixings. Enjoyed our meal and the cost was very reasonable.
Busy shop even at 2 pm. No long wait though
When you order at Yocco’s you aren’t there for ambiance—just a cheap yet quality meal (if you like hot dogs &/or pierogis). The food is good, a bit of an icon for its longstanding presence in Allentown. The staff could pay a bit more attention, as I felt they were distracted watching a TV monitor behind the counter.
In all, though, we enjoyed our visit!
My favorite Yocco's location in the Lehigh Valley, the customer service is top notch, and they always have fresh food ready to go. Even at the peak of lunch time, they get customers in and out with fresh food. If you are regular they for the most part, know your order off the top of their heads
Amazingly economical, entire meal came out of under $7.50. Two chili dogs with the works. Large Coke Diet. Hot dogs were amazing, customer service was excellent.
Yocco’s to this day keeps its reputation as the Hot Dog King of the Lehigh Valley! The quality of their hot dogs is unmatched, they come out piping hot, they’re made very quickly, and they also sell fries, burgers, cheesesteaks, and pierogies. My fiancé is in love with their pierogies and always asks to go there when we visit the area lol.
If you’re from Allentown you already know Yocco’s has been serving the best hot dogs for 90 years. No visit to my hometown is complete without two with everything and a side of pierogies.
Chile sauce, mustard & onion is everything.
And the buns are steamed.

Last time I was in Allentown it was 2019. I've been dreaming of Yocco's ever since. How sad I was that I came in and my hot dogs had been on the grill too long, chilli was dried out and my bun was cold and crusty.
The flavor was there like I remembered but the texture was a sad disaster. Three hotdogs that were a ghost of their former glory.
Perogies are fine.
Cook had a good rapport with local regulars which was fun to watch, but a little sad new customers weren't welcomed the same.
