If you are NOT looking for amazing food and relaxing services along with an epic view-STAY AWAY!
We had such a glorious time at y01 resort. Michael at the front desk is the sweetest, he made us feel like we were old friends. The resort is clean and everyone is there to ensure a relaxing stay. The grounds are spectacular-it feels right out of a travel brochure. We LOVED the food. I’m not a vegan so i was very sure I’d need to door dash but every meal we had was insanely delicious. We missed lunch one day (poor time management) and i asked the server to describe the food to me.
The rooms are luxurious and I think the showers were bigger than my first studio apartment.
We will most certainly be back!!! Thanks for an amazing weekend!
I had an amazing long stay at YO1 Health resort with my parents. This was the perfect getaway from all the city noise. My dad enjoyed the healthy breakfast and nature walk. My mom got a chance to explore the huge variety of soups which were provided every other day. I found that there was always something new to look up to, when waking up at the resort. Besides the food there are numerous things at the resort that kept me busy like the amazing activity room, swimming pool, gym and the reflexology walkway. We were lucky enough to have had a chance to meet the celebrity band Phish who also happened to stay at the resort. Overall the place had a nice ambience with amazing private yoga sessions with Yoga experts. The staff was well mannered and friendly. I plan to come back again with my friends! Thanks for an amazing getaway!
I had a chance to stay in this gem recently with my friends. I would say that it was an unforgettable stay with YO1 Health Resort. The staff was helpful & knowledgeable. The rooms has the best view & Their Yoga classes in the morning was too refreshing. The food in the restaurant was fresh & every bite was delightful. Overall, a perfect getaway to refresh your body & mind..
I had an absolutely amazing stay at Yo1 resort. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and taken care of. Alex, Michael, Suzanna, Jamie were exceptionally great with the service. The wellness activities, including meditation sessions and yoga classes, were incredibly rejuvenating, and the massages at the spa were some of the best I’ve ever experienced.
The breakfast spread was delightful, with a variety of healthy and indulgent options to suit every palate. The service was impeccable—every staff member was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind.
The serene ambiance of the resort made it the perfect getaway for relaxation and self-care. I left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious yet calming retreat!!
The rooms are very nice and the staff are friendly. But the yoga classes are not good at all - basically just a bit of stretching, and it is supposed to be a yoga hotel so that was a big problem. Also the cleanliness is lacking, for example there is a water feature in the spa area and the water is actually brown, which was pretty gross. The yoga studio was also dirty. I was looking for something under the bed and it had obviously not been vacuumed under for a long time- there were pistachio nut shells (not mine!) and candy wrappers in addition to dirt. Also the steam room was not working. Overall disappointing for the price. With a little work it could be so much better.
Disappointing experience. It doesn’t worth the price! Would not recommend
**a lot of previous reviews look fake**
Dinning room was dirty: carpet was stained everywhere, under the tables were so dirty!Service is very slow, food didn’t feel fresh, cheap/low quality food, it felt more like cafeteria/microwave food. Repetitive meals
A lot of amenities are defective, dirty or out of order. Showers in male change room are dirty and broken.
Juices are good but way too overpriced!
I had a deep tissue massage with William, it was a terrible massage. He smelled bad, he was clapping and scratching me all the time, he didn’t really work my muscles, it was not fluid/smooth at all… just painful, uncomfortable and ineffective…
I was booked for acupuncture the next day, the therapist arrived 50min late…
Hotel felt very cold and empty.
Some staff seemed very lazy, poorly dressed and seemed to only cared about pay-check.
Yoga session were good, although repetitive
The overall concept is very good and the venue has so much potential! Some staff (Michael, Suzanna) really seemed to make effort to enhance our experience! But, at the end, we felt scammed and we were expecting so much more for the price!
My intuition is that they would need new management that would be ready to invest in the business, motivate people to work there and make sure we can enjoy all the potential the place has to offer!
I stayed here in August 2024, traveling from Florida for a wellness experience. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Classes were very limited (2 a day). While the staff was all very nice and welcoming, the building itself is lacking- I am a flexible traveler and by no means expect 5 star accommodations but visible rat traps, an inability to get to the back of the building into nature without getting locked out/having to walk around the entire hotel to get back in, no where to sit comfortably outside besides a couple of benches... It was not the experience I was hoping for. Walk on property could be completed in 20 minutes so drove for some hiking. It may work better for NYC residents looking for an escape but I wouldn't travel much farther to get here as it is lacking. My spa treatment also was lackluster. I got the mud treatment that was $200 plus and lasted half the time it was meant to and was not special. Mud was very thin and the heaters weren't enough so was cold while waiting for it to dry. I did the breakfast plan and went into town for other meals so can't speak to doing the full meal plan but the breakfast plan is pretty good. Think this could be a great place if attention was given to detail.
I have been to YO1 three times and each time has been an amazing experience. The sauna, food, meditation etc are all great and positive atmosphere. Susana in the front desk is the best! she was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed to have a pleasant stay. I will definitely be back again soon!
