As a local this was our first time actually venturing out into our environment and trying something new...we were nervous and were not let down at Yiannis! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD! EVERY SINGLE BITE WAS FULL OF FLAVORS!!! Grilled Calamari was off the hook!!! I never thought I would like it grilled but, now I prefer it. Cheese cigars, conch fritters, shrimp... baklava... Every single thing we tried we were wow'd! Highly recommend to everyone in the area to try this restaurant! Staff was extremely friendly and on point, we never had to wait for anything. Were greeted with smiles and bid farewell with the same. Thank you. We will be back.
Yianni’s Greek Cuisine is a very casual environment. The food was very good, much like food we have eaten in Greece. The flavors are authentic and fresh. The service is friendly and attentive. Our only negative is the view of the water is mostly obscured from inside but it was a very positive experience and we would return.
We came to check out the docks and stopped here to get a bite. The service was fantastic, it wasn't overly business but pretty steady. We ordered gyros and a salad. Our meals were hot, favorable and delicious. The salad was fresh and tasted great. The bread and olive oil was perfect. Will we go back? Yes, when we are back up that way.
Stopped in for some quick refreshment. Had some 2 for 1 margaritas! Great price at a cool spot. Will eat here next time. Jessica was great!
Some of the best on the block! The portion sizes are massive so you won't be leaving hungry! The kids menu burger is on the larger size as well so keep that in mind for your little(s). Overall it was a great atmosphere and reasonably priced for what you're getting for it ☺️
This is a cute little place ???? with great sandwiches ????????????????, yummy shrimp???? ???? ????, all the starters are amazing, and the octopus ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? with the Greek salad and Greek fries ???? were delicious!!!♡♡♡ The ???? ???? ???? drinks???? ???? ???? are affordable, and yes, they have specials!!!♡♡♡ They are updating the inside of the restaurant, and it is looking super cute!!!♡♡♡ If you like or luv❤️ Greek food,???????????????????????? I would put this place up against anyone. You should give this little place a shot!!!♡♡♡ You will be surprisingly surprised ???? ???? ????????????????!!!♡♡♡
Hate to give a suboptimal review to a Tarpon Springs headliner but we were sorely disappointed with the food and the experience. While the server was anxious to take our order when we first arrived, we took a couple of minutes to look over the menu and then we had to chase him down so that we could place the order . My Greek octopus was pretty good. Our Greek salads were D- grade. Seemed like coarse unrinsed lettuce from a bag, with really crappy tomatoes and no cucumbers. My wife's Greek chicken platter had dry overcooked meat, clumps of dry rice, and looked like something too horrible to describe further here. It was big though. I sort of loved the green beans but my wife did not as they were stringy and some of them still had the ends on them and stems. We had to go up to the bar and ask for more water since nobody came by after the plates were delivered. The atmosphere was a bit compromised because the wait staff just seemed to be hanging out behind the bar, having some internal discussions and then there was some lady apparently working in the facility next door that kept coming in and out through the back door and talking loudly on her cell phone.
Greek Magic ! The portions are huge and the taste is authentic! I left very pleased. I would definitely recommend and will DEFINITELY go back. Very clean and staff was very friendly.
