It was our first time at Yemeni cuisine restaurant, Got there late 15 minutes before closing but they took our order happily. Wish we were there early so we could enjoyed the home like atmosphere it was very pleasant but since we got there late we took the food home.
We ordered 2 Mandi chicken, 1 charcoal grilled chicken & 1 Mandi Lamb, all were delicious especially Lamb was very tender and tasty, both charcoal grilled and Mandi chicken were seasoned very well and tasted good, portions were decent.
4 stars because the prices online and inside the restaurant doesn’t match in fact the prices in restaurant was slightly higher, there was no plastic ware or napkins packed with food and no salad comes with the food either other then that it’s was a fine experience.

Inviting and appetizing! We learned of this restaurant just earlier today and planned dinner this evening. The staff were kind and inviting, the food was delicious to smell and taste and the portion size was plentiful.
We all truly loved everything we ordered! We are excited to come back and try more entrees.
The dining experience is more akin to being at a community center. Bench seating, somewhat messy place (cases of stuff just left in various places), everyone knows everyone, etc. This place is great if you're Yemeni or want to immerse yourself in the community.
For me, it was good food, but uncomfortable, and a bit expensive.. and very slow and confused service. It would be great for someone, just not me.
The lamb was great, I'd do takeout to have it again as a treat.
First time here.. the little soup starter was amazing on its own.. but add that hot chimichurri style sauce for some heat and bread.. fire... the lamb was incredible with the rice.. the cashier Miriam was stunning to boot... will deff return..
The soup they served was nice and hot. We ordered Saltah with meat ( found a hair strand) and Lamb Mandi. As I called the server and showed her the hair, she wasn’t sorry just stared and took the dish back.
I thought she will get a new dish which she did not. And not once came back to our table.
The mandi was good but the lamb meat was dry. The Shattah ( hot sauce) was yummy and spicy tasted fresh. The bread was fresh hot and yummy.
When it came to paying the bill I thought she will not charge me but the same server was at the counter and she did again with no explanation.
I really don’t understand when she had seen us leaving our plates and not eating the Saltah/Fahsa which had hair but still chose to ignore!!!
The dishes are like you find it from street and serve food on it. By the way we ordered food and had Nan(Bread) in our order we never got the bread although we called the ladies working their 3 times to bring it but never got it.
The food is good but I personally don’t like the customer service and the environment where people in front of you take out their shoes and eat like cultural place.
This place is amazing!! The food is phenomenal and the service is great, the staff here is super sweet and helped me with the menu! I definitely recommend this place to anyone
