Best WLM Reviews

I love coming here, this is only my third time because I moved to New York 2 months ago yet the food never disappoints. Anything with lamb is my favorite. When you take a bite out of it, it’s just so difficult to comprehend if it is actually real. People are wonderful and they are so hospitable. Must try 10/10!
Simple and authentic. Great hospitality, they welcomed us with a cup of the popular soup and bread. We ordered 2 plates and they were so good. Maybe the best lamb liver I had so far in the US!
Small place but very busy. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Went there with a friend for the first time. In the beginning they served soup, flat bread and salad. Soup was okay, it had too much black pepper. Flat bread was little dry. Special house salad was good and fresh. Soup and salad is complimentary. I ordered chicken kebab with rice. Rice were okay but chicken kebab was delicious. My friend ordered lamb haneeth which has a large portion. Yemeni tea was also free. Overall, it was a good experience.
Excellent tasty food especially their bread is very crispy and tasty as well as the meat is very fresh and delicious! Hands down best Yemeni restaurant in the whole tri state area
We ordered lamb haneeth lamb Mandi lamb kibdeh lamb fahsa which is so hot and delicious with steam coming out of meat like the video
As soon as you sit down, help yourself to some homemade tea from the corner (it’s free). Dip the naan in the complimentary soup, but don’t fill up too much—you’ll want to save room for the main dish. We’re here for the lamb #19. The portion is a bit too large for one person but not quite enough for two. The lamb is tender and falls off the bone. On our first visit, it was more moist and flavorful, but this time it was slightly dry. Still, adding some soup to it helped. We also ordered the baba ganoush, which was smoky and rich, perfect with the naan. You can refill the soup, naan, salad, and tea as needed. Overall, always a great experience.
I had a fantastic experience at Yemen Cafe in Brooklyn. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was outstanding. The lamb haneeth was tender and full of flavor, and the complimentary bread with ají and salad added a nice touch. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Yemeni cuisine!
The hospitality is wonderful. We were greeted with lamb soup, bread, and tea. The lamb kebabs were delicious! We’ll be back. The restaurant was lively & all patrons were thoroughly enjoying themselves.
This place is a New York City institution at this point. No review is going to do this place justice, you just have to go there and experience it for yourself. Yemen Cafe has been consistently serving amazing authentic Yemeni cuisine at the same spot on Atlantic Avenue since the mid 1980s. As soon you sit down, you are served a fresh bowl of piping hot delicious lamb broth soup that's got a spicy kick to it and bread freshly baked in a clay oven which they keep serving fresh after you've finished your previous one. Everything on the menu is excellent, but my favorite is the Foul, a fava bean stew that's served bubbling hot in a stone bowl. The atmosphere is old school with friendly service. There's a self serve counter for spiced tea that's complimerntary with your meal. The hallmark of a an excellent restaurant is the consistency of the quality of its food, service and atmosphere. This place has been delivering that for the several years that I've been going to this place.
