We LOVE Yelm vet! They treat us like family and spend time to make sure our pets have the upmost care.
They don’t slap a “bandaid” on concerns or do things just to receive as much money as they can. They actually care and want what works for us!!

We have 4 wonderful fur babies and all are healthy and happy❤️
We have always had great care with our dogs; Pearl and Glen. Receiving yearly exams and up-to-date shots; to include teeth cleaning. Also, most recently Pearl had to have her eye removed because of an injury. They were so wonderful with her care and she has adjusted very well. Thank you for taking good care of our dogs !!!
Our new rescue puppy came down with kennel cough and they got us in right away, they were awesome, since kennel cough is contagious they took precautions to make her and the other animals safe, the tec and Dr Griffin were wonderful and caring! We will be back for sure!!
The vet assistants were pleasant and knowledgeable and highly responsive to the needs of my dog. The doctor was excellent and treated my dog with great care, kindness and professionalism. I have all my dogs treated by various doctors at this hospital, and all are wonderful.
The only negative point I have is the new reception staff. They all could be a little friendlier, and smile once in a while. The ladies who used to work behind the reception counter would engage with customers and pets, but that doesn't happen anymore with the new crew. These ladies are a little cold, but they do work to complete requests.
It's the doctors and vet assistants that make every visit worthwhile, and I know my beloved pets are in good hands.
I have been going to yelm vet since I moved here in 2012. They have always been very kind and caring to my dog's need as well as ours. They've cared for 6 different dogs of mine as well as a couple of cats. Even with the difficulties of getting in to see them at times, I remain loyal.
I’ve been coming to YVH for over 10 years and now I live in Tacoma. I needed to get my dog in ASAP for an unforeseen back issue that arose the night before and was able to secure an urgent care appt the morning I called. I absolutely love Dr. Raleigh, from her kindness and compassion to her knowledge in Vet Medicine. She took great care of my dog and she’s doing so much better with the meds she was given. I continue to make the drive because of the great work they do there. The staff there were kind and understanding as well! Thank you YVH!
All positive experience getting an allergy shot for my senior dog! Very fast check in, we got seen within minutes, and he got full attention and care by a really sweet staff member. Thank you so much!
I’ve been taking my ShihTzu to Yelm Vet since 2015. The Vets and Vet Techs have always been good at explaining care. They are kind and helpful. The clinic is very clean. My frustration is that it is difficult to get appointments in a timely manner. I gave up buying their pet insurance as I can’t always get an appointment for my dog with them and their insurance is only good at their clinic. Therefore, why buy their pet insurance if I’m sent elsewhere? Seems like those who have insurance with them should have some kind of priority. My other complaint is that my dog has her health history with Yelm Vet. so being sent somewhere else is frustrating.
