If you decide to shop at this horrible Goodwill be sure to get a receipt if you think there’s a chance you’ll have to return.. even if you are told at checkout that without the receipt you can return within 7 days for store credit. I bought 4 pairs of pants for my granddaughter that are the wrong size and because I opted out of paper garbage I now have toddler pants that are going to go to waste. I certainly won’t be donating them to this place.
Also the customer service was very rude. I tried to explain the situation and the Manager (Jessica) wouldn’t even let me speak, just kept repeating “you have to have a receipt”. Meanwhile the cashier is 2 check stands away not dealing with the customer at her register but saying to me “ I told you”
It was 4 pairs of pants ($16) that I was going to turn around and give back so I could get the proper size pants. Not $100 worth of merchandise.
The employees are angry and rude? I have been nice to them and they are mean to me and all the people in front me in line. I'm proud of myself for not yelling at them. If you don't like your job get a new one.
Inquired with an employee if they ever get high vis construction hoodies or jackets. Before the enployee could answer some lady who i assume was her boss barged into the convo and told me "in the men's section" like i should have already known. So only men work in construction and no store ever has kept that kind of stuff in a separate section eh? rolled my eyes and walked away before she could get any more snotty with me.
Pretty typical attitude for people/ businesses in yelm though. I'll go outside of yelm for what I need as per usual.
We have been in Yelm WA for several years now. I CANT begin to count the amount of STUFF we have taken and GIVEN to this goodwill drop off. The employees are USUALLY good About promptly coming out with a roll cart and retrieving items you're donating. But NEARLT EVERY SINGLE TIME we do there is SOMETHING that they will be picky about and reject. Either its a considered "furnature" item OR containers that maybe had once held "food" or SOME OTHER problem with items or an item we DONATING. It's all subject to the interpretation of that employee who walks out to retrieve the stuff you're giving away.
Thus last tine we went, we dropped off several bags of clothing and misc items we've had sitting around for a while; we also took in a big wood framed raggedy Ann painting that is probably about 3' x4' _so a good sized piece of wall art still in great condition, and the guy tells me "oh we can't take THAT.. we don't have any room for THAT.." oookkk... After our drop-off we decided to go around to the actual goodwill and browse around inside. INTERESTING. That along the back wall I found all THIS as pictured... and you say you "DONT HAVE ROOM "..wow!!! Annoying donations b.s
I go to this Goodwill quite often and lately I have noticed that quite a few clothes are not in the correct size category. It can be frustrating when you are looking for a certain size and its very disorganized.
Way over priced...who's marking this stuff. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, you can tell it doesn't get "cleaned" trash taken out and stocked....yes, but not cleaned. I told a worker it needed attention. A few days later....hadn't been touched. With all that aside, there's still some good finds. Look for the discount color tags.
I can’t believe this place I am so mad I found a dog statue that I really wanted went up was going to pay for it and the cash register person broke it… and continued to ask if I still wanted it and everything will NOT BE GOING BACK
It was very clean inside. Like all other goodwills the prices have really gone up. I can't stand seeing all the resellers in there grabbing all the stuff off the shelves and all the clothing and then checking their phones. Kind of takes the fun out of everything.
