Really liked this place, was here for the winter. Cold but great view of the cliffs. Also, there is a trail that leads back to the Yellowstone River. Great price concedering electric is included (for monthly). Close to highway, but far enough, you don't hear it. Close to downtown if you like to bike.
This may be the nicest RV park we've ever visited. Simply the nicest staff, from the office to the maintenance and service folks. Laundry room was immaculate and looks to be brand new. Bathroom/shower also spotless. Tall shade trees gave relief from hot sun, and it's only 2 miles from Billings with lots of restaurant choices if you're tired of camper food. A perfect stopover for one or two nights.
The RV/campsite was clean and great. There was a fenced off area for the dogs. The people were wonderful. I even had a couple help me put my tent up. The owners of the campgrounds were very nice and very helpful. I met a few people that have been traveling and some who were regulars at the campgrounds.
Quick overnight stay. Place is huge with tons of spots but the turns are very tight We have a 50amp, 40foot travel trailer and we barely fit in our spot, but we were able to manage it. We had a hard time on one of the turns and got stuck, but no major issues. Bathrooms were all communal, including open showers (first place I’ve seen this way), see pics below - a little awkward but doable. Restrooms were more available at night. Laundry only open thru 9p. Last load is at 7p.
Facility thankfully allowed for overnight check in and left all items outside.
Close to Yellowstone national park. But also inner city, don’t be surprised to see a homeless around. Main office staff were friendly, great, and communicated very well! There were tons of RV campers out at night, walking their dogs, and around fire pits, so made the place very welcoming and safe. May consider staying here again with a small trailer. If we got the opportunity.
Super clean bathrooms, nice off leash dog areas. Easy access from I90 but little freeway noise. Best is the open fields and trail to the Yellowstone River. The campsites themselves are too cramped for a 5 star rating. I stay here everytime I am through Billings.
We booked our site at this RV park during a busy weekend (first weekend of Sturgis) and the staff were very nice during both the reservation and check-in process. Price was very affordable and location was decent - easy to find, good access to and from the freeway and downtown. We were in what appeared to be an older site (based on the electrical box appearance). The park is very well maintained and bathrooms are very clean. The office/general store is nice, clean, and well stocked. They also have a food truck that comes in during evening hours (we actually missed it as we didn't realize they leave at 8PM). Our site was a bit odd though as it was set up so that our neighbor (if we had one - which, fortunately we did not) would have had our entry/exit door facing their entry/exit door (which would be great for two families camping, but can be a little weird for strangers). The site was nice and level though, only complaint was that the site did not have a sewer connection and using the dump station can be a little tricky as it is on a blind corner and gets busy during exit time. We would stay here again, but at a different site.
‼️SHOULD BE CHANGED TO 55+ ONLY RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY ONE BIT‼️
If I could give 0 stars I would!
We had lived here from mid February to the end of October. And have paid them damn near $10k since living there. You wouldn’t even tell that they make that much off anyone because they don’t invest back into the park one bit…
Owner is very rude and plays favorites when it comes to rules. Picks and chooses what she wants to enforce and makes up rules along the way…
‼️IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY WITH CHILDREN DO NOT EVEN COME HERE‼️ owner loves to make up rules when it comes to children or family gathering. We did a gathering for Easter, told us we couldn’t do an Easter egg hunt… then woke up a few days later to a note on our doors about “you can not BBQ outside of your own lot” (so pretty much saying we can’t use the amenities that we pay monthly for)
Ive had to call office due to homeless camping out behind our camper and showering in water spickets (he was there for a few days so they don’t even check if you have even paid for a spot, but yet wants us to pay over $1k/m)
Dirty pool and hot tub during the summer, shitty playground (that they could invest more into from the money they suck from you)
During the winter you are only allowed to skirt and if you even attempt to put a heater they will just rip that shit from under your camper without a warning, when this is Montana and the high gets to -20°, then your stuff freezes. You’re also SOL when your stuff freezes because they shut down bathrooms and laundry during the winter (so no bathrooms when your stuff freezes from not having a heater under your camper)
Gross, smelly, small, and sorry excuse for dog parks…
All around just a bad place to go! Do not give them your money. Do not go here unless you are 55+ retirement community… if you want an owner that plays favorites go for it. If you want your pipes to freeze and bust in winter, by all means stay here, if you want to throw money away then I say do it!
Campground is OK, convenience to Billings is the biggest thing going for it. Sites are level, everything works as it should, and it's well maintained. It's expensive for what it is, around $670 for a week with military discount and the only real amenity is a small pool everything else is pretty standard. It stays pretty full so I guess people don't mind paying for it. Sites are pretty small, sewer hookups are a couple of feet from your picnic table and really far forward on back in sites. Storm came through and had a lot of limbs fall off the cottonwood trees on site. Roads are pretty tight as well but manageable. It's an OK place to stay near Billings.
