We had such an amazing experience! Best KOA we have ever stayed at. In fact we stayed 5 days instead of 2 because we enjoyed our site so much! Beautiful scenery and very clean facilities were a nice addition. The showers were perfect temperature and clean! They offered a small store, laundry facilities, game area and playground, a pizza parlor, and shower/restroom facilities. The staff is friendly, fun and very professional. The sites and grounds are very clean and well cared for. We will definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience!
We stayed in a tent camping spot for 2 nights with electrical hook up. It was nice to be by the river which helped with the KOA park sounds all night when trying to sleep. Other nearby tent spots are spaced well. The spot itself we had was perfect for the nights we stayed- flat enough for our tent. The fire pit and picnic table was nice to have. Beautiful scenery on site as there are a couple lakes and beautiful views of the mountains. The amenities there were very clean as we used the showers and did laundry as well. The location is not far from West Yellowstone and the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park which is why we were there!
Despite horrible weather (and therefore not being able to enjoy all the amenities of the lovely site we had booked) we had a great stay. Charming friendly staff, well stocked shop, large pleasant site with everything needed and a fantastic location just minutes to Yellowstone. Staff were also flexible with our dates too which was much appreciated. Really great KOA experience.
We had a great experience at this KOA! When we first checked in and found our tent spot we noticed that somebody else’s tent and supplies was half way into our spot. We went and reported it the gentleman at the front desk and he marked our map with all of the available tent spots and told us we could walk around and chose our favorite spot! We chose spot 230 right along the river nestled into the trees. It was gorgeous! And they even let our cousin reserve the spot next to us. The bathroom and showers were clean, the gift shop was nice and the cappuccino machine made the best salted caramel lattes. It was a great stay! We will be back!
Fantastic!!! Great location, super clean and really fun things to do. They have bike rentals, these really big pedal big wheel type bikes to ride around the RV park, basket golf, playground… several ponds and a creek, a trail in the woods…The store is out of this world- big, organized and they have a pizza place in the store. We’ve been on the road for a month and a half and this has been one of my absolute favorites. We loved it so much we extended and stayed 4 nights. Will definitely re-visit!
I LOVE IT HERE!! I’m a KOA regular and this was easily one of my favorites. The cabin was right by the river and it made for such a peaceful stay. The service was amazing, Lincoln was SO helpful and kind. Not to mention the short drive to Yellowstone, Montana or Idaho. We had such a great stay and I would highly recommend it.
I picked this campground because it is close to Yellowstone National Park. Access to showers and laundry were great! We have already been traveling for 5 days, and I was happy to be able to do laundry before the next leg of our trip.
The staff in the store are great! Very kind. Be sure to ask for a deck of cards.
I really liked getting text reminders each night that the store was going to close in an hour that was helpful for those last-minute needs.
Had an amazing stay at the Mountainside KOA in West Yellowstone! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect, just minutes from the park entrance, offering easy access to Yellowstone's wonders. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers great amenities. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore Yellowstone and enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere!
