When we pulled up it was late since we were on a road trip, the front desk worker was sleeping so we had to wake him up to check in. Next, the elevator was under construction and there’s no 1st floor rooms so anyone with accessibility difficulties will have a very hard time getting up the steep stairs a full floor to the rooms. We asked if they had accessible options as my brother needed it and they said no. Further, the hotel was completely under construction. The hallways, the lobby, the breakfast area are all disgusting, stains and renovations everywhere. Construction started at about 6am so we were woken up by loud noises. The rooms (besides the dirty old bathroom) were newly renovated and really nice. There was a large gap between the door and the floor so, besides the safety problems, we could hear others from other rooms snoring during the night. Overall this hotel was fine for a quick stay in the middle of our road trip but I would not want to spend more than one quick night there.
Newly remodeled rooms are stunning! The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud, and the sheets are so soft and luxurious. Everything feels fresh and inviting—definitely exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to come back!
I came here to Livingston for the night because hotels in Gardiner (right next to Yellowstone Park) were outrageously expensive. The room here was well less than half the price of the cheapest room in Gardiner, so it was well worth the extra driving.
My room here was surprisingly great! Big and spacious, plenty of electrical outlets, good hot water in the shower, and a TV with lots of channels that worked without a hitch. The room was very clean and everything looked new, like it has been recently remodeled.
They also have great coffee available 24 hours.
The best part of my stay here was Bharti, the young woman working the front desk. She is super nice and friendly and helpful and I really appreciate her service and great attitude.
I called ahead of time and ask them if they had parking for my trailer. They said yes. When I got there the parking lot was blocked off for larger vehicles. All the employees had extremely bad attitudes. Everything was under construction. So no pool or rec room. I asked if I could go somewhere else. The employee said if I wanted to cancel i needed to call the choice app to cancel. I told the employee you can't call an app and the app was telling me to contact the motel directly to cancel. He said then I can just leave and not stay there but I would still have to pay for the room. I would highly discourage anyone from staying there.
Not sure why this hotel has bad reviews but the rooms are newly constructed, really comfortable and clean. Rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, little coffee machine. The elevators, TV, pool and gym are out of order due to construction. Originally our AC didn’t work but the receptionist changed our room right away. Breakfast was typical. Overall it was a good experience if you just want a place to stay in and relax.
The elevators, pool, and TVs were not working, something I should have been informed of when I made the reservation, not at check-in. We were tired from a long drive and it was late, so we checked in. What they did not tell us was that the room was not complete, with exposed plumbing and a window treatment that consisted of a single blind that did not cover the window. They also didn’t mention that access to the second floor was via a single staircase, too narrow for two people going in opposite directions to pass.
But what earned them a one-star review was an uncovered electrical box with exposed, charged wiring. No property should ever book a room with an electrocution hazard such as that. I have reported the facility to the local building inspector, as I warned the desk clerk I would. Perhaps this will be a good hotel once the renovations are done, but for now I’d stay away.
We were definitely nervous about this stay after reading some of the recent Google reviews about renovations and horrible service. However, unwilling to pass through the rockies at night, our hand was forced and we decided to book a room for about $150 (before taxes and fees).
If you are looking for a family hotel to stay at for a week and vacation to the surrounding areas, this probably isn’t for you. The pool is closed, the gym is closed, there is no elevators, no TV, and active construction throughout the hotel.
HOWEVER - if all you care about is good service, a clean room, comfortable bed, and safe place to stay, I cannot say enough how great this hotel was. It felt like a godsend for us to be able to stop here right off the interstate, quickly and easily check in, take some warm showers, and sleep for the night before heading into the mountains.
Temper your expeditions based on what you want, but at the end of the day, this was a clean and safe place to stay.
The place was under renovation. The TV service didn't work. We had a two night stay and when we returned to our room late the second night, they had given our room away. Our key didn't work and there was someone in our room. We made the reservation through a third party site. We had to pay again and we are still trying to get our money back.
