The food is incredible! It comes out fast and flavorful. All of the wait staff is kind, cheerful and attentive. The chicken pot pie is so good but the trout was the clear winner.
Go and look at it before eating!! The food on the buffet was horrible!! The bacon was so overcooked when I tried to pick it up it just crumbled into pieces all of it. The sausage was so overcooked it was like cardboard I thought maybe if I pointed it out to the wait staff take care of it. When they tried to take care of it and they said we don’t know where the cook is. Never go to the $18 buffet on Sunday
I have learned that one has to overlook the star ratings sometimes. First visit, dinner, was really good. The elk chili was very flavorful, the kids ate a really nice hot dog and burger and the Montana Philly was really good too. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were pretty good too. Our waiter was a nice fella. The kitchen was backed up they told us but we are on vacation, what’s the rush. We’re thinking about trying it for breakfast.
Normally I read reviews 1st before deciding on where to go but tonight we r sooo glad I didnt, as we may have not dined here due to other reviews!!! We are here on holidays from Australia & yes we went to 2 other places only bcause they had been suggested to us, but WOW we are glad we finally ate here..from the moment we walked into the cosy, homey, warm feel, then to be greeted by such lovely staff, esp Shelley & Christina (which we didnt receive from the other 2 restaurants) who went beyond & above with friendly helpful service, to the delicious prompt delivery of our food...we tried ALOT & every meal was on point!! Cheesy Corn Dip, Garlic Cheese Chicken Wings, Onion Rings Jalapeno Poppers Meatloaf & Quesadillas..
BRILLIANT...if we ever come back, we wouldn't hesitate to dune here again!!!!
ribeye steak for $44 is a complete joke. It’s super thin and salty. Trout is the same salty and super dry. Even the simple quesadilla is super salty. common It’s just a quesadilla. I live in California for 10 years and this is the most salty restaurants I’ve ever tried. No recommended at all.
We had breakfast here and we are definitely coming back. The food is served warm, has great flavor, and excellent portions for the price you pay. The service was amazing, the young lady working the counter and serving was constantly checking in on us and filling up our coffee mugs. The restaurant is nice and cozy and very calm in the morning.
We enjoyed our meal at Yellowstone Mine and had only a short wait to get seated at the busy dinner hour. Service was friendly and prompt and the food was good. The menu is not extensive, but we appreciate that in a restaurant as it typically means the dishes are done well. We had the trout and the meatloaf and both were great! They were large portions.
Food looked very good and this restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a table and so were directed to the part of the bar reserved for diners. After being assured that our order would be taken we waited 20 minutes and hadn't had as much as a glass of water offered to us. We left. Restaurants have to have reasonable service, wait staff were more interested in changing the TV channel for a customer than taking our order. Very disappointing.
