We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting Yellowstone. At first the price shocked me, but this is a nice park and we are happy we stayed. This park is right in town, very convenient location to West Yellowstone park entrance. A few blocks down the road from the grizzly and wolf discovery center, you can hear the wolves howling early morning and evening, so cool!! But not loudly obnoxious and only for a few minutes. Multiple laundry and shower facilities on site. There is also access to a nice dog walking area, a few miles of nice trails through the forest. The ladies at check in were very friendly and helpful! They gave us two great dinner recommendations, Hanks chop shop (delicious) and Wild West pizza (we had it delivered to our campsite, also delicious and convenient) we would stay again.
Visiting Yellowstone Park? This is a great location to stay. Not to mention the great service from the staff.
Restroom/ shower was immaculate!
We like the text messages from them for weather updates, and sale!
I'm so glad our friends recommended them. We look forward to visiting again.
First off, I just want to say we were originally not supposed to stay here. We had accommodations (that we were looking forward to) at Fishing Bridge inside Yellowstone, but they let us know they were experiencing a multi-day power outage the day we were in route. On the road, we searched for something that might work, and we're very grateful for the staff to squeeze us in and would definitely stay here again, given the option.
The RV park is located just blocks away from the western entrance to the park, and it is very well kept, has a great atmosphere, along with extremely helpful and kind staff. Special recognition to Keith and his wife for going above and beyond to help us out. This place is very kid and pet friendly and also located on the edge of downtown West Yellowstone, with many amenities within walking/bike/short drive away.
Thank you for a great stay and for helping us out when our original plans were torpedoed. Until next time...
We spent several nights here while visiting Yellowstone NP, and location couldn't be better. Sites are large and well-maintained; shower/bath/laundry rooms plentiful throughout the park. Showers and bathrooms well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Downtown West Yellowstone is a five minute walk away with shopping, grocery stores, museums easily accessible. It is priced higher than most parks in the area, but we feel was extra money well spent. The only minus I'd mention are the dog walking areas; they are in unmowed wooded areas outside the perimeter fence. I'd be hesitant to take my dog through high grass and woods, concerned about ticks and snakes. Stick to the paved roads in the park.
I have been going to Grizzly RV since I was a teenager, but this is the first time I have stayed in a cabin. I absolutely loved my stay here. The cabin was beautiful and clean, and it had electricity and a heater. The bathrooms were located about 100 ft from the cabins. I was so impressed how clean and well maintained everything is. The bathrooms were cleaned 3 times a day and the showers were nice. The employees were friendly and helpful. The extra money I spent here rather then the KOA was well worth it.
If you are looking for a campground around Yellowstone National Park - look no further! This is a cannot beat location right outside the West Yellowstone entrance with plenty of things to do walking distance in town! The property is very well kept and each pad features full suite of amenities and hookups. The cleanest bathrooms and showers I’ve seen at a campground. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating to anything you need.
Great place to park and plug in for the night, they are welcoming of EV Campers, site was clean, heated bathrooms with showers and flush toilets, polite staff, well cared for. Extra attention to many details made it a great place to stay... When we come back to Yellowstone next time we'll be sure to use them again!
This was a great campground. We only stayed for one night and picked it due to the proximity to West Yellowstone entrance and downtown. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Sites were a bit tight but we were comfortable with full hookups. The only downside would be the price but clearly this is a high demand area. It was very busy but we were there in early July and that’s high season.
