Best WLM Reviews

One of the last economy hotels in West Yellowstone to fill up, so we were able to get a last-minute room. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, large TV with a lot of channels and had a table with two chairs. Everything is very dated and smells a bit musty. The hairdryer was broken, some of the outlets did not work and wifi was constantly disconnecting. The ice machine was not working, but you can buy a bag of ice from the office for $2. The office is not staffed 24/7 and does not open before 7a. Very traditional looking motor inn. I would stay here again.
The hotel is dated and needs a lot of TLC. The parking lot is crowded. The insulation to adjoining rooms is almost non existent downstairs so you hear everything the guest above is doing. Sleep was ok once everybody throughout the hotel stopped moving. The bathroom door in our room was literally falling off the hinges. The bathroom tap leaked. No coffee pot in the room but coffee is provided in the lobby. Internet was spotty when the rooms were full. This is the cheapest in West Yellowstone and I guess these are the reasons why. That does not mean it is inexpensive. This is a tourist town and so therefore rooms are expensive throughout.
The location and the quietness are definitely the main selling points here. It is very close to the Yellowstone West Entrance as well as one of the best breakfast diners in the area. The rooms are big and quiet. The shower was clean, but the soap liquid was empty in our room. The free wifi is not feasible in our room. we couldn't even connect to test the speed in our room. There are lots of parking spaces. The TV has some channels, including a netflix option, when you turn it on but couldn't choose the netflix as it automatically goes to normal channels from the guide.
I guess if you have a prime spot close to the park you don’t care what your rooms are like. We rented 3 rooms and all of them were in pretty bad shape. Two of the rooms had no refrigerator or microwave. My brother got put into a room that someone already occupied it. Then they wanted him to explain to the other couple that they did not take any thing from the other couples stuff. Coffee was not ready at 7 like they told us. Just save your money and go somewhere else.
This is the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. Every room is filled with a musty odor, and even the bed smells like mold. My pajamas picked up this smell overnight, so I had to throw them away. There were no amenities in the room, such as a microwave, fridge, or coffee maker, but they did place a symbolic TV in the room. When I turned on the TV, there was only one channel. This place is truly horrible. The lights in the room were extremely dim, and some were not even plugged in. The front desk staff were full of lies. My room didn’t have Wi-Fi, but they provided a Wi-Fi password. I don’t understand the point of that. When I called the front desk, they said the Wi-Fi only works in the lobby. So why provide the password in the room? When I asked the people in the room next to me, they said the Wi-Fi has never worked. I was shocked by the front desk’s irresponsible response. I don’t know if the staff have been trained or if they just hired someone randomly to deal with guests!
4 walls and a ceiling. No Wi if available except near the lobby. Blinds in bathroom are broken and patched with toilet paper so no one can look in. Hair dryer only works on cool setting so is faster to sit in the sun. Would not come back
We paid $300 for one night for a couple, but the place was extremely dirty. The overpowering smell of bleach seemed to be masking a moldy odor. With no other nearby hotel options available, I plan to file complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General since the owners have not returned my calls.
We booked the room before reading the reviews. That being said our room looked like it was newly updated. Our AC was new but didn't work as their electric was not grounded right so it kept tripping the gfi. The front desk guy rescued us by providing a fan. It was kind of expensive for not having the ac, no coffee pot, breakfast, water, fridge, soap, or shampoo (again front desk guy bought us a bottle) It is walking distance from a lot of shops and restaurants.
