Best WLM Reviews

Do NOT waste your money here!!! Saw this place on google and based on the reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I wanted to go somewhere that served Oysters Rockefeller so here I am.
The highlight of the night was our server Collin, even though they were out of alot of stuff, he was very sweet and accommodating.
Now on to the shenanigans….
First..make sure you read that it is a reservation REQUEST so it’s not like open table or most restaurants. So I put in a “request” at 7:08p for a reservation at 8:30p. Thinking that we had reservations, we came. We were seated. We ordered 2x oysters Rockefeller, 2x 3 course entrée(crab cake, cream of crab soup and dessert)
At 8:48… I received an email from the restaurant stating that the 8:30 reservation was no longer available (lol) glad I didn’t wait for the confirmation.
The oysters Rockefeller were horrible!! And the presentation was ugly!!
The crab cakes gave Maryland a bad name all the way around. Captain D’s crab cake would be a better choice.
At this point, we just gave up and asked for the check and the Manager. Spoke with the manager and shared our experience. He was very empathetic and also expressed concern for the food and our unhappiness. He took off the entrees and Oysters. I would have to say, the drinks were good :) but honestly would never ever come back here again. Trying to make McDonald’s before they close. Wow.
This might be my new favorite seafood restaurant. We found this place on Google after going to Mayo Beach Park. While looking at the menu, we had a really hard time deciding what to order so we looked at what was being brought out to other tables and everything looked AMAZING so it was still hard to decide. My fiance saw the Thai Shrimp egg rolls so we ordered that and I had a craving for sushi so I ordered the Maryland roll. The Thai Shrimp was good. Maybe 3.5 outta 5 stars. The sushi was 4 outta 5. I ordered the mac n cheese for my daughter and it was sooo good! So creamy and cheesy. I couldn't keep off her plate. I didn't have a big appetite so I ordered the mini crab cakes from the appetizer menu as my main dish and they were delicious! My fiance got the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries. Delicious!
Our waiter Maddie was so nice and did an amazing job taking care of us.
The location was amazing as well, right on the marina.
We will definitely be back!
Crab egg rolls are great. Soup was great. Fried oysters were a little greasy and could have been fried harder. Nice views of the water.
I live in Annapolis and go to various restaurants. I went to lunch at yellowfin. I have eaten there before. This time I ordered the broiled crab cake It was not good - no flavor, wasn’t cooked long enough for a broiled crab cake. My green beans loaded with butter. The salad dressing was old tasting. My presentation of my food looked good but didn’t taste good.
Lovely atmosphere with a view overlooking the South River.
Menu items were good and a bit pricey for most of their main dishes.
Had the Chicken Flatbread and it was delicious. The Bacon wrapped Scallops and Shrimp were just okay. The fish taco was yummy and so was the Rockfish dish; so yummy...
Glad we stopped by after a jet-skiing outing. Would visit again when next in the area.
Our first visit to Yellowfin was wonderful. We went for a date night and ended up getting way too much sushi, which was amazing. The drinks and the views were also outstanding. We will definitely e going again. We heard they have a great happy hour.
Over price, average food, slow slow service. Way over priced. Chicken stuff with crab had two dry slices of chicken and little crab mix in a cheese.
Enjoyed a delicious meal at Yellowfin the other night. I had not been to YF in over 15 years and didn’t recall the food being as good as it was. Everything I had was delicious from start to finish. Great service. Nice ambiance and nice views of the water.
