Everything we ordered was a vehicle for some kind of sauce or condiment. The pancakes were good with butter and syrup, the zucchini fries were good with ranch dressing, the breakfast burrito was good with salsa, and the hash browns were good with ketchup and salt. Contrary to the practice in most restaurants, Yellow Basket could stand to season their food more. That said, for those with high blood pressure, diabetes, or if you like to choose your own salt, butter, and sweet levels, this is the place for you! The properly crispy hash browns were the perfect star of our meal today (with the addition of ketchup and salt), and the breakfast burrito (while heavy with hash browns) was skillfully prepared. The coffee was decent (if not quite strong), and the staff are nice, attentive, and hard-working. The aging location was well-kept and clean.
Really good spot for diner classics. Got a blue cheeseburger and a salad and both hit the spot. The bread and fries were exceptional and the burger meat was cooked perfectly with a slight char that I really enjoyed. You'll definitely leave full. Very nice amd clean interior and staf was friendly.
What can I say grew up going to all the yellow baskets it was / is a family business. Yellow Basket started over the the years serving non uniform menus from each other which was okay but when you wanted what the other had in a different city they didn’t have the same menu. For years we would go out of our way to drive miles on miles just to eat here however within the past few years the restaurants started closing leaving 2 of the main flag ships open.
The reason I’m giving the store a 3 is because the price for a breakfast burrito almost took me to the poor house and this is a low income neighborhood. We used to come here because of the low price and quality food I mean to say more “reasonable price” but emphasis on “Used to”.
Now the price is at least 7-12 extra then most of the smaller joints with a large cult following like Burger Stop, Main Charbroiled Burger, Lucky Guys Burger, Charlie’s, Cowgirls, bunz burgers, dukes, pops cafe, and (Fight me if you want) Yogis Teriyaki. So there you have it the price is insane you can’t match Charlie’s energy and increase the price when the quality didn’t go up with the price it’s too later for that redeem yourself and sell breakfast burritos for $10 and make em bangin or vanish with the rest of the old great spots like red hill cafe.

This has always been a go-to place for comfort food. Locals know about this restaurant and come here often. The food never disappoints. I enjoy their burger with pastrami. It is soooo good.
Absolutely amazing Place freaking love it dude they're hamburger was on point I actually didn't eat Minds right away I waited a few hours and the Buns didn't even get soggy or anything like Moe's hamburger places do on top of that I had steak and eggs that steak was actually perfect I asked for rare and it was perfectly juicy in the middle also the sunny side up eggs I had four of them and they were perfectly golden and runny in the middle absolutely wonderful the hash browns were crispy not burnt and the bread which I wanted white bread was nice and crispy as well and a helping layer of butter I highly recommend this place and by the way the young lady that took my order in the register was extremely nice and is actually very knowledgeable of the area if you ask her what are other good taco places or Mexican restaurants she will give you good suggestions
Visiting from out of town, see their Uber Eats rating, placed an order, they did not put utensils in the order, even after request on app, there is no syrup for the French toast or ketchup for the hashbrowns. So needless to say, couldn't eat the French toast and that was EXTREMELY disappointing, please pay better attention to certain items that NEED specific items.
