Best WLM Reviews

My husband and I wanted to try Jamaican food for the first we looked on google and yeah man popped up . We walked into the restaurant and were greeted by a very nice lady the atmosphere was amazing . We never been here or even tried Jamaican food before so we were excited…We both got the special which came with three meats which were curry goat, oxtails and jerk chicken ! I wanted to try the oxtails so bad but unfortunately the oxtails were my least favorite the gravy was a lot for me . The jerk chicken with that sauce was amazing!!!! The curry goat was delicious as well ????. I gave 5 stars because overall we had a great experience and the food was great . We will be back soon !
My daughter and I stopped by there for the first time last week. The place is so cute. We were greeted by a very kind lady. I ordered the brown stew chicken plate and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the curry goat and she loved it. We will definitely be going back soon. I highly recommend that you give it a try.
Listen to me as you read this. GO HERE!! Not only was the customer service was suburb but this is hands down the best Jamaican food I ever taste. The jerk chicken is to die for and I’m highly considering using them for my wedding. You will not be disappointed, Denise is great, go here and have yourself a good meal.
So first let me say the customer service was amazing which is rare these days! Denise was really nice (part of reason I gave a 3 star) But honestly we’re here for the food so let me get to that. The oxtails were very tender, a little fatty for my liking but tender nonetheless. Now the flavor was nonexistent. When I go for Jamaican oxtails I go for flavor and I got none with this order. The consistency of the broth/gravy was all liquid (brown water if you ask me ????????‍♀️) no thickness or flavor at all so I was a bit disappointed. Now I’m not going to give up on them just yet because it may have been an off day. I noticed they had mixed reviews so my guess is the recipe they use isn’t being followed so there’s no consistency which means I may go back and get a good batch. This was my first time visiting so I’ll give it another go in about a month. The picture attached is a regular size portion and it was $30 which I expect in this economy…oxtails are high!!!! Yeah Man I’ll see you all in a month so don’t disappoint ????
I had an amazing experience food was great. I felt like I was in Jamaica. They have the best authentic food I’ve had since being in Atlanta for two years. Also I had the pleasure to meet the owner, and the daughter. Very nice warm professional people that takes time to make sure everyone is satisfied.. it’s the only Jamaican food I eat and I highly recommend. Tell a friend and bring a friend and family god bless
i would never buy from there again.. way too expensive especially for a lunch special cost almost 15$ then they only give yu two of the smallest pieces of chicken and more cabbage than anything else to full up the container.. oh and it's extra charge for 3 plantains. smh
Just passing on my way home, service was nice. I decided to try the Large stew chicken rice and peas. Stew chicken had no flavor tasted like oil and water. Rice and peas was bland not even a little thyme!! As an actual Jamaican this is not authentic Jamaican food. My first and last time at this restaurant.
I went to this restaurant based of of the reviews. I think I went ro a different restaurant than everyone else! I ordered a veggie plate which I already felt was kinda pricey for rice, cabbage, and 1/4 of a plantain, but I said maybe the food is good. So I asked the gentleman for gravy on the rice and he told me it would be $2.00 for brown stew gravy ( just to put it on top of the rice no meat included lol) I have never experienced a Jamaican or Caribbean restaurant that charges for gravy on your rice and peas (please tell me if it is me) so I still said well maybe the rice will be flavorful. Needless to say none of the meal had any flavor. So maybe the meat options are better. The service ok and at least the food was hot, but to say my taste buds were disappointed would be an understatement.
