I admit it I am Yokel! The staff wear T-shirts with the slogan "Ye Old Pancake Station where the Local Yokels eat". There is a reason why the restaurant is always packed at breakfast and lunch. The food quality is outstanding, the staff affable and courteous. When I order the Belgian waffle, I order a double order of fruit topping (blue berry) because the waffle is so big, a double order of fruit is needed to cover the whole waffle. The restaurant has been recently remodeled and is airy. The restaurant is not on a main thoroughfare, but the Local Yokels seek it out in its hard to find location. Find Ye Old Pancake Station, you will not regret it! They are wheelchair accessible and service dog friendly.
At 4:00 PM, the Restaurant reopens as the Lost Cajun Restaurant and the food is also is excellent!
When visiting Amarillo don’t miss this place!!! YUM YUM YUM - best pancakes in town. We visited 8/4/24 on a busy Sunday at noon for brunch. You can tell the place is popular by the amount of people who were there. We were a party of 2 and waited for 10-15 minutes for a table. After being seated we immediately were served coffee and drinks. Service was friendly and staff capable and attentive. Portions were huge and the food delicious. We waited about ten minutes for our meal. Level, paved, free parking lot. There was a small women’s bathroom with a line waiting so I didn’t use it. Men’s bathroom was reported to be clean. Convenient to other shopping, hotels and highways. Will definitely eat here again if ever in the area.

I had the Country Benedict, ham slice on a biscuit half, with scrambled eggs, covered in sausage gravy, with hash browns.
Best thing was the gravy, and the hash browns were good too. Good coffee, good service with the meal being served hot.
Food was incredible! These biscuits are to die for! Huge pancakes too. I’m so glad we found this little gem. Definitely plan to come back while I visit my mom in Amarillo. Everyone was very friendly and helpful we shared laughs and I’m really happy the food was so fresh. Love this pancake place!!
This was an amazing stop. The food was priced great and the portions were huge! The people were friendly and we had the best server named Teri. Definitely a great stop you don’t want to miss out on!
Was very disappointed! I ordered 3 things to go. Eggs Benedict (they forgot to put hollandaise), next was chocolate chip waffle ( they put waffle in a styrofoam container with holes in the bottom so my syrup went leaked all over the place). Last thing was an Texas steak omelette, Omelette was good but hash browns were just browned on the outside.
I had a great experience at Ye Old Pancake Station. They made a mistake on my order, but they quickly corrected it with excellent customer service. Michell, the manager, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I really appreciated her attentiveness and the way she made sure I was completely satisfied. Great food, and even better service – I'll definitely be coming back!
Though we had to wait 30 minutes to eat, the wait was worth it. The food was delicious! Chxó̜ó̜h łikan! I heard about Dutch Babies from Bob's Burgers & had to try it when I saw it on the menu. It was delicious! The helpings are huge & the price affordable. The staff are nice & friendly! I'll come back again!
