I really liked their pressed Cuban sandwich! I'm a salad person & I came specifically to get their Ybor salad w/the creamy dressing. The garbanzo bean soup is great made w/sausage & potatoes. It's a bit hot spicy but I like it! The olive butter (which I've never tried before today) was Great!! You probably need to like green olives though which I do. The staff was very welcoming & service was outstanding! They've had some hurricane damage to their sign outside but Google maps was spot on with directions there. I will go back over & over again! I do recommend!
First time ordering from here. Got Ybor salad- was ok. Got mini potatoes-said tender inside. They had something unidentifiable in the middle. Online menu said nothing about a stuffing. Driver forgot my Coke. He spoke zero English. Called the restaurant and the lady who answered could have cared less and said Door Dash driver forgot the drink and they couldn’t do anything. Very disappointing. My first and last order with them
My niece recommended this place & we are glad we tried it! Friendly staff, varied menus choices, large portions & good prices. My husband had the grouper meal and the portion of fish as well as the sides were more than generous. I had the Palamillo steak sandwich with homemade chips. We shared the small Ybor salad & choc sheet cake (which was more like a brownie). Took home plenty of leftovers for another day. Will eat here again.
I’ve been a long-time patron of Ybor Grille since their previous location off College. Sadly after today this will be my last time here. Today I attempted to place a to go order and was beside myself with how I was spoken too. The woman who answered the phone was short and immediately placed me on hold. No problem. When she came back she immediately said “what can I get for you”, I replied “I would like to place a carryout order please”, she replied “WHAT can I get for YOU” in a very rude, condescending, and hostile manner that was stunning. I was in such disbelief that I told her never mind and hung up. I realize people can have a bad day and give others the benefit of the doubt but this woman and her tone was beyond that. I lost my appetite and decided I will no longer be dining there. The quality of the food has fluctuated at times but not enough to where I wouldn’t return. When I called my significant other to inform him of why I wouldn’t be bringing home Ybor Grille he immediately knew the woman I was referring to as she had been rude to him in the past as well. Having this woman as the first interaction/impression with guests is risky and in this case, costs them a long-time loyal customer. I wish this restaurant the best.
Been here many times and the care in their serving has gone way down, not sure what has happened. This salad is almost after taxes $20 dollars and this is what you get. Barely any lettuce and it’s supposed to be a salad and the chicken tasted awful too. Bland
YUM! Food was FANTASTIC! Sat at bar due to limited seating! Bartender was very polite! Food came out quick! Loved the Cuban sandwich, chips and pickle. Iced tea was refreshing! Everything on the menu is awesome.
Since been back 10+ times and this place is the BEST! John is a fantastic bartender. Salads are great! Updated pics!

Wanted to give this place a try I wanted to love it , Unfortunately to say it was horrible is an understatement. Came here with my family . Upon first walking in The smell of mildew and mold hit my nose. I SHOULD'VE Left at that moment. The waitress was nice ,seemed as if she was always in a rush however ,even though there was only 10 people in the restaurant in total , 5 of which was my family . I ordered the Grilled Grouper and shrimp - order comes out - it's battered . Waitress goes and fixes the order . Food comes back out in less then 10 minutes and MY FISH WAS RAW. SHRIMP AND GROUPER RAW !!!! No seasoning what so ever . My daughter ordered the ropa Veja and the rice was crunchy and the meat tasted like whatever pot it was stored in. My son ordered the kids burger which tasted like rubber . He gagged on it twice trying to eat it . Was just a horrible experience all the way around.
