I had a slightly late dinner here, and I was very satisfied with my meal. I tried the spicy miso ramen, and it was just as savory and salty as I had hoped. The noodles had a perfect texture, and the broth was lip-smackingly good. The toppings were also generous and varied. The food was excellent and would easily bring me back in the future.
I visited Lafayette for work. I loved the spicy ramen I had for lunch. It’s a relaxed little place on the Main Street. You can walk all the surrounding streets and enjoy the mice architecture and art around the area. I would definitely come back.
Our server, Riley, was fantastic. Had the tonkatsu miso spicy ramen. For reference, we returned from a three week trip to Japan a month ago. The ramen was good. Like the broth more than the noodles. Overall, a good spot that we would return to.
This was my first time having Ramen here and I went with their Veggie Ramen bowl. It was decent tasting, hot, and vegetables were fresh! Although my only complaint is the bowl didn't have much flavor, because everything took on the spinach taste. Next time I'll definitely have it made spicy or see if I can make substitutions on their none vegetarian dishes. Atmosphere was good. Very quick service, seated quickly. I would suggest not to sit near their portable AC machine because it was very chilly.
The food is SO GOOD. Its my favorite place in west lafayette! The ramen is so rich and good and so are the toppings. Also very picture-worthy. Food comes out pretty quick
I didn't eat in. I ordered take out. And, the food was absolutely delicious. The volcano ramen was actually really spicy, and that's a rare find. Only complaint is that the broth for take out was put in a non-soup container, so it leaked all over the food (probably because it was also super hot), and when I carried it to my car, the leaked broth made the bag bust. Fortunately, no food was lost except some broth, so I still took it home and ate it. But, I had a decent mess to clean up. Would recommend a sturdier container for broth.
We ordered 4 types of ramen for our visit this time. Garlic tonkotsu was the best. I typically loves tonkotsu ramen with spicy flavor. But for this restaurant, the spicy ramen did not not enrich the layer of the ramen but override the flavor of tonkotsu.
Cozy little place with good service. Their special ramen was flavourful but a little salty. The pork buns were too dry, might have been reheated in the microwave. The hot peach green tea was presented well with cute little sake cups.
