We had my husband’s surprise birthday party tonight and it went so amazingly well. Our waiter Ashley was excellent and the manager Jessica helped make everything a success. We arrived at 8 pm and were already done eating by 9. Our party was about 26 people so that is super impressive. I highly recommend this place for a small meal or big event.
Everything is good wasabi is good too. I didn’t like the tamago (egg) nigiri. Its not like the kind I’ve had in other restaurants it just taste like an omelette and in other places it is always sweet. I also didn’t like the ramen here it was missing flavor for me and my bf. I personally wouldn’t recommend the ramen.
Arrived at 6pm and seated immediately. I love the SUMO artwork.
Ordered SASHIMI appetizer (very fresh), SUNOMONO Moriawase ( savory and refreshing dish), mixed TEPPANYAKI (cook perfectly and filling), MISO soup ( savory with chunks of Tofu) — BENJAMIN B attended to all our dining needs. Thank you

By far the best sushi spot in the RGV! The food is always on point, the sushi is fresh, and the best part is the service the staff provides. We had the privilege of being served by Matthew this time, and he was amazing. He was super professional, cordial, and extremely attentive to our table. It’s always a great experience at Yasuke!
The only truly authentic Japanese restaurant in the valley IMHO. Has followed this restaurant in their many past locations- this new one is the best … large and spacious. The Yasuke boat at $85 is truly worth it with good grade and mouth watering sashimi, 2 chef sushi rolls , squid salad and seaweed salad. Plenty for 2 ppl. We also enjoyed the grilled hamachi and soft shell crab for appetizer. Variety of choices of beer and sake. Our server, Gretel was very attentive and knowledgeable of the food that they serve. She was very polite and sweet. I got a nice sweet treat for my birthday too.
Benjamin (server) was great. Tried the cucumber ???? water which was pretty good. I got the Bento ???? Box which has a little bit of everything highly recommended.
We really enjoyed tonight dinner. It was amazing! And the manager and service was a 10. We feel really happy, because a few days ago we had a Ramen that was just not the best. But they reached out to fix issue. And the Ramen was sure very delicious! Thank you, and we will be back soon!
