This review is long overdue because I have been a patient of Dr. Khan for over 19 years, and she has been nothing short of exceptional throughout all those years. She delivered both of my children, and provided outstanding care during both of my high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Khan goes above and beyond for her patients. She is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but she also genuinely cares about the well-being of the mothers and babies she looks after. During both pregnancies, she was thorough, compassionate, and always made me feel supported. She took the time to answer every question, address all my concerns, and guide me through the challenges that came with being high-risk.
Her calm and confident demeanor during delivery was so reassuring, and I truly felt I was in the best hands. I will always be grateful for the role she played in bringing my children into the world.
I couldn’t recommend Dr. Khan enough. After 19+ years of being her patient, I can confidently say that she is one of the most compassionate and skilled doctors I’ve ever had. If you are looking for an OBGYN who will go above and beyond to provide exceptional care, she is the one!
Our experience with Yasmin Khan was unacceptable. From the start, we were pressured to switch insurance because ours was deemed “not good enough.” After switching, every appointment involved long waits, with the doctor merely repeating what the (excellent) nurse practitioner had already said.
Two weeks before our due date, Yasmin mentioned her vacation plans, showing little regard for our delivery. One week before, she suddenly brought up induction, forcing us into a decision we never planned for and disregarding our wishes for a natural birth. During delivery, she punctured my wife’s water bag without proper consent, pressured us into two epidurals, and pushed for a c-section despite my wife’s clear intentions and the baby’s head being visible. In the operating room, my wife flailed uncontrollably and turned blue due to anesthetic complications, leaving us terrified and unsupported.
It’s clear Yasmin prioritizes convenience and profit over patient care. Her disregard for our wishes, lack of professionalism, and coercive approach made what should have been a beautiful experience deeply traumatic. Avoid this physician if you value respectful and compassionate care.
If i could give her 0 stars i would. Its been 4 years since my delivery but i still cant forget the way Yasmin Khan treated me during my delivery. First and foremost she made me wait so she could get to the hospital when all my body wanted to do was push. It was difficult having to wait for her. The nurses were all scared she wouldn’t arrive on time.
Then after she came late, I ended up with an episiotomy; an outdated medical procedure that most doctors dont perform anymore due its outdated science behind it. I was furious. Getting an episiotomy done left me have fecal incontinence for 2 whole months. It left me quite literally scarred for life. When I went to her days after my delivery to ask her what and why she did that she gave me half ass answers trying cover up decision. It was my first pregnancy and I didnt even know what an episiotomy was until I researched it after my delivery. Frankly she has too much ego.
And i also like the other reviews mentioned, had to wait for 30+ minutes, sometimes an hour to see her. She rarely saw me during appointments and if she was there she was always rushed with her answers. Shes truly a cold egotist lady that needs to have her license revoked.
**Religious Discrimination** Dr. Yasmin Khan refused my service because I am one of Jehovahs Witnesses. I was told I could not be seen because I refused to accept blood - if any emergencies should arise during any procedures formed. Yasmin Khan then asked if I was one of Jehovahs Witnesses and I told her yes and at that point she said she would not be able to see me.
Dr Yasmin B Khan is not just a doctor for me she has taken care of me more like a Mother than a doctor. I remember instances when I was having medical emergency and I was in her clinic and my husband was on business trip, she took care of me like a Family member , she provided not just medical aid but also waited at the hospital until my husband can reach the hospital. She helped delivering both of our kids and both times me and my family was so relaxed as we knew we are in good hands. We have complete trust on her and highly recommend her. I am going to her past 15 years now and She is the best one.
Dr.Khan and her staff is amazing! From the very beginning they took such a good care of me and my baby. Dr.Khan is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had such a good experience during labor thanks to Dr.Khan who took good care of me. I am very grateful to Dr.Khan and had her staff.
I had my new patient appointment with Dr. Khan and her PA that’s training with her. As a healthcare professional, I’m beyond impressed with them both. Best appointment I’ve had as an adult. Dr. Khan is knowledgeable, personable, and just an overall great doctor. I’ve never had a MD so detailed. I felt like I saw my gynecologists and PCP in one visit! She’s 1 of 1 and I’m glad I am now her patient!
My experience with Dr.Khan for delivering my baby boy has been exceptional. She had always addressed my concerns and was a great source of strength throughout my journey. Her office staff and nurses were also friendly, efficient and respectful of my time. Scheduling appointments, viewing test results or any kind of communications in between have been prompt and hassle-free. Being Dr.Khan's patient has been very reassuring and peaceful. She is very dedicated to her patients' well-being and combined with her medical expertise, it makes her an invaluable healthcare provider. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and compassionate gynecologist.
