We had a great dinner at Yashi Sushi, the sushi were amazing and so was the salad. I loved the miso soup, not so much the clear soup. But I loved their sushi and would definitely visit them again. The fish seemed so fresh and delicious.
Stopped in because they are close to my job.
Shrimp fried rice
Literally 6 shrimp and rice no carrots peas onions lol nothing just fried rice and 6 shrimp. Oh and a fraction of one egg. lol
Sushi roll
Lunch special 2 rolls for 11.50
I added cucumber to the rolls extra 2.50 charge.
Service
Waiter not friendly felt very rushed
Not worth the price. There are a few sushi places in the area. I’ll check them out.
$16 for 2 rolls of sushi to go, a little pricey but was really good!
We finally tried this place after years of people saying the sushi is pretty good, and we were not disappointed! We placed a to-go order that included Krab Rangoon, Veggie Tempura, Crazy Roll, Chef's Roll, Fantastic Spicy Tuna Roll, Superman Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Marki Roll, and Miyazaki Roll. All of the items are in the attached photos (minus the krab rangoons and most of the veggie tempura since it was already eaten).
The Miyazaki Roll was probably my favorite. It's deep fried and includes smoked salmon, krab, cream cheese, and eel sauce. My second favorite was the Chef's Roll. It includes shrimp katsu, avocado, and cream cheese wrapped in cucumber with a homemade sauce.
We usually frequent some of the all you can eat sushi spots around town, but the quality of the sushi here was so much better in my opinion and worth the extra cost. I normally find myself drowning everything in shrimp sauce at the AYCE places, but this sushi was so good that I barely used any.
We will be back, and we will probably try dining in next time!
Update: We dined in, and it was still really good! Added a photo of our food, minus the apps, for the in person visit!
This place was decent, but nothing to call home about. Got here around 8 pm on a Friday night only to see a few occupied tables. The establishment is small, but nothing special. After being seated we were greeted quickly and ordered. The food was delivered quick and was satisfactory. The sushi rolls were very big and filling and had decent taste. It wasn't anything to brag about, but was decent food. The fried rice tasted old and bland, but other than that there was nothing to be too upset about. I was also happy the waiter gave us a whole bottle of yum yum sauce to keep at the table without asking. This place is good, not mind blowing sushi, but good enough to get the job done.
this is by far me and my girlfriend’s favorite sushi place. we go pretty often and the people working always make us feel special and welcome. everyone is so nice and efficient, it makes it hard to decide to go anywhere else in comparison. the sushi is soooo good and very reasonably priced! we love it here!
Tried a variety of rolls here. The service was great and the waiter was attentive to our needs + refills. The fried rolls ended up being the best. Some of the other rolls ended up being a little underwhelming. They all looked pretty though!
I ordered takeout from here and while the staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was nice, unfortunately there was a slug in my kids chicken dish sitting on top of the stir fry, and the rice was not fresh in the sushi rolls. The slug sadly made it unable for us to continue enjoying the food.
