This restaurant is very good. Very good. They have a huge selection of many delicious foods and I highly suggest the buffet option. The meat portions were also pretty big and I enjoyed the meal.
Lovely AYCE Hot Pot in Little Neck. Huge selection overall , nice staff, ample private parking lot and very reasonably priced.
My only suggestion would be the sauce station to cover it up. I witnessed few customers hovering over the station and one was coughing. Not very hygienic.
Great AYCE hot pot buffet in Little Neck. The buffet covers your choice of broth and includes a wide assortment of vegetables, tofu, fish ball type foods, and noodles. Meat and seafood selections are available as a per-order add-on.
I will probably come here again since it seems like a better price than my previous go-to...as long as I don't have a hankering for a lot of meat/seafood.
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. An amazing selection of veges (crown daisy, beans, sprouts, watercress, etc.), noodles(mung bean, ramen, udon etc), frozen seafood, and meat balls… the list goes on! What a bargain for $18.99 specially if you are vegetarian, what variety!
Today i added lamb and blue crab which i thought was a reasonable up charge.
Vanilla ice cream was also included as well as a jelly like dessert.
Love the spacious ambiance as well as the murals.
The restrooms are clean, modern & beautiful although they are down a flight of steps. Parking is aplenty too.
Great spot for lunch. Unlimited fresh veggie dishes with all sorts of varieties. Staff is really attentive and helpful. A few desserts for the kids too which is always nice. Definitely recommend checking them out.
Good food . Pricier than flushing but easier parking . Comon now other Chinese people who are comparing prices are higher than flushing ! Be realistic now!
Wasnt expecting to pay so much at this place. =(
All you can eat veggies, noodles, fishballs. If you are only eating this it’s worth the price. Added other meats/seafood and drinks. Expect to pay a lot. If you like desserts after don’t bother here. Don’t like the tables. People sitting against the wall are trap and inconvenient to get food. Good point - the soup is tasty, veggies are fresh and has a parking lot.
My family and I stop by here for a meal almost every time we come to town, and always a satisfying visit. Each table is set up with an individual hot plate, atop which your own broth bucket of choice will sit. I almost always go for the dashi broth because it tastes the cleanest, along with a healthy glug of chili oil from the sauce bar (pro tip for anyone else who wants to spice up their shabu shabu game).
From there, you're off to the buffet bar, where there's a dizzying array of veggies, noodles, and fish cakes to cook up in the hot broth. The only free proteins offered are tofu and eggs; plates of meats and seafood can be ordered for a separate cost.
At any buffet where so many unsupervised hands are going toward shared foodstuffs, my topmost concern is cleanliness. Here, I'm regularly pleased to see how many and how frequently workers come by to refresh, wipe down, and clean up the buffet area.
For all the fun and good food I've had here, there's been one downside. Over my last few visits, the dessert section has slowly vanished. The soft serve ice cream machine has been replaced with a freezer of ice cream cups and mango pudding cups, neither of which are very good. That said, service is top notch. Even on their busiest days, servers come by to regularly take away empty plates and offer top ups of broths if your pot is getting too low.
