A short well worth it walk from the Hard Rock. Ordered oxtail with collards and rice and beans. The box had to have weighed 2 lbs. Expecting the usual box full of rice and beans with 4 oz of meat. Floored when I opened the box and could barely see the collards and rice and beans. Very impressed with the portions and justified at $27.50. The oxtail was perfect, tender, juicy with the perfect amount of fat. The meal would have fed two grown men and left nothing to be desired. For a break from overpriced Casino food take a nice walk to a wonderful meal that will stick to your ribs. The cashier was wonderful along with everyone I interacted with during my visit. I only wish I were going to be around AC a little longer to try some of the other amazing looking dishes they offer. Overall this is a great find and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something home cooked and delicious.
I must say this restaurant gets a five star from me. I’ve been here on vacation since Wednesday and been wasting my money on the nastiest food on this boardwalk up until today when I found this restaurant on Uber eats. I know what southern food supposed to taste like because my family is from the island and this is it. the prices may be a little high but the amount of food that is given is definitely worth it. I would recommend everyone to try this place out. I will definitely be eating here again when I come back.
If this is the type of food you're looking for, there is no reason to be on the fence about the quality. This will satisfy any taste buds you have with its wide menu selection. Dine in or takeout will not take away from it's taste, it's made to please
I ordered fried chicken platter with two sides (Baked Mac and cheese and beans and rice). WORST FRIED CHICKEN, RICE, AND MAC & CHEESE I EVER HAD. Even the school lunch I had in middle school and high school tastes better than this. Mac and cheese was so bland had no flavor and a weird smushed up texture. Fried chicken smelled bad and tasted so bad, and the rice smelled bad and tasted like regular rice mixed with some grass dirt. Ate 20 percent of my order and fed the rest to the birds outside. WORST RESTAURANT IN ATLANTIC CITY SO FAR. THE FROZEN DOLLAR FOODS AT DOLLAR GENERAL THAT YOU HAVE TO HEAT UP IN THE MICROWAVE TASTES BETTER. Worst money spent. Food was trash.

I tried Jamaican food for the first time, and it was exactly what I needed to shake things up. The service was quick, and the person who took my order was really patient and helpful, especially since I wasn’t sure what to get. They walked me through the menu and made sure I found something I’d enjoy.
The food was on point. The jerk chicken had the perfect amount of spice and heat – it was seriously amazing. The homemade cabbage, beans, and rice with their special gravy all came together perfectly, creating a flavor explosion I didn’t expect. Everything was fresh, and the chicken was so moist.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try more. I’m glad I decided to try something new, and I’m excited to see what else this place has to offer.
YARDY IS THE TRUTH ???? my friends and I each got different platters and every single item was impeccable. The flavors were giving and the food is fresh. The portion is very good for the price. I recommend coming earlier because they sell out of popular stuff early.
The BEST jerked chicken in the entire state of NJ! Perfectly cooked and flavored. I highly recommend that you try this

Our catering order from Kelsey & Kim's fell through, so I called Yardy's and they were able to accommodate me with a same day catering order! I called them around 11am and they made me two full trays of macaroni and cheese, 1 tray or corn bread and 100 chicken wings by 2pm. The food absolutely blew me away, I have never purchased food from a restaurant that has tasted so good. This is truly like homemade food straight from a family kitchen.
Thank you so much Yardy's for pulling this order together for my staff so quickly, being so incredible friendly and accommodating and for making some of the best tasting food I've ever had.
