I enjoyed both the great food but also the amazing service that contributed greatly to our experience. Our server Kanika went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and took care of every need. I believe this is a testimony of great management and leadership of this institute.

Yardbird and their server Kunika hit a home run for my second time eating at this culinary castle in the Miami Beach area. Kunika provided excellent service and made our experience that much more enjoyable. The food is so good here that it makes no sense and should be a crime. The vibe is super chill and the establishment has a nice rustic vibe. Portions are super hearty and of high quality. Family ordered multiple dishes to include the classic chicken and waffles, backyard bbq (legit) and the Nashville hot chicken. We also ordered some sides (Mac n cheese and street corn) and drinks that were enjoyed by all. I have a major sweet tooth and the apple cobbler was premier. Wife and kiddo shared the banana cheesecake pudding that was too much for them to finish. This spot is definitely on my list of food hot spots that I have to visit whenever I am in the Miami area.
I went to Yardbird during happy hour (weekdays from 2pm-7pm). They offer great small bites at decent prices. I tried the happy hour chicken taco, chicken wings, and finished off with the fried Oreo for dessert, all paired with a few cocktails. Very nice experience!
The fried chicken and waffles were one of the best I ever had. The chicken was well seasoned and moist on the inside. Tasted great with their signature hot sauce. The cheddar waffles along with the bourbon maple syrup was a divine mix of sweet and savory. ????
Yardbird is a fantastic restaurant specializing in traditional Southern American cuisine, and our experience there was highly enjoyable. We visited twice during our stay, and both visits left us satisfied with the food, atmosphere, and service. The first time, we dined inside, while the second visit allowed us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Both settings were comfortable and welcoming, each offering its own charm.
The service was impeccable on both occasions. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and punctual, ensuring we felt well cared for throughout the meal. The portions were incredibly generous, and the dishes were rich in flavor, embodying the signature spices and warmth of Southern cooking. Following the recommendations of both the menu and our server, we tried a variety of dishes, and nearly everything we tasted was outstanding. The flavors were bold and authentic, perfectly capturing the essence of Southern comfort food.
We paired our meal with some excellent beer, which complemented the dishes nicely. The restrooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive impression of the restaurant.
While most of the food was exceptional, the one dish that fell slightly short of expectations was the Ribeye Steak. It wasn’t necessarily bad, but it seemed out of place in a restaurant so focused on Southern-style cooking. In hindsight, it may have been a poor choice on my part, as the menu is much better suited to dishes that highlight traditional Southern flavors.
Although Yardbird is not inexpensive, I found the prices fair for the quality of food, generous portions, and excellent service provided. Overall, it’s a place I would recommend without hesitation for anyone wanting to experience authentic Southern cuisine. It’s well worth a visit, and I would gladly return to try even more of their incredible menu.
I had mixed feelings about Yard Bird. The food was generally good, but I found the menu a bit lacking in variety. Unfortunately, they were out of chicken, and the sides were sold separately rather than family-style, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the fried chicken was definitely a highlight, and the portion of ribs was impressive. The biscuits were lukewarm, which may just come down to personal preference.
What really won me over, though, was the macaroni and cheese—it was so good I’d return just for that side alone. While the overall menu wasn’t entirely my cup of tea, I’d happily come back for the fried chicken and mac and cheese without hesitation.
Walking in the host's was wonderful. Loved his attitude. BoJack our waiter was wonderful. Was worth a extra tip. Deviled eggs delicious as always. Boyfriend got the ribs and I got the short ribs. Unfortunately the one in Las Vegas was outstanding. This just didn't hit the same. The key lime pie was the best yet. For the prices we expected to blown out the water.
My first reaction was... who picked this place? $42 for chicken & waffles! But when the food came it was enough for 2-3 people to eat. And when I say DELICIOUS! OMG! The chicken was so juicy and tender and that bourbon syrup! It's worth every penny!
