Best WLM Reviews

I’m gonna start this off by saying, I am by no means a fancy person but this place was very fancy. Made for an amazing end to a Friday night out in Dallas. We came on the 2024 Thanksgiving holiday weekend and at a time where they were transitioning from their brunch menu to their whole menu. They talked to their Chef and made accommodations for us to be able to select from their entire menu instead of the Brunch Menu. Our Waiter was Bryant and he was phenomenal. Whatever they are paying him, it is just not enough for how good he was. I have never had service so efficient. As far as food, you can expect an average of $30-$100 a person depending on what you plan on doing. My table had, Skillet Cornbread and Brussels Sprouts, Homemade Biscuits as appetizers. For main courses we had two plates of Chicken and Waffles, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Gluten Free Chicken and Waffles, A steak served with Onion Rings and specially grown tomato's. Our Little on had Mac and Cheese. For all of the above it was a little over $400. It was all well worth the cost. If you go, ask for Bryant you will not be disappointed.
We held a corporate lunch here for a holiday party. The food and cocktails were super delicious! There was a small mix-up with our reservations but the staff worked to correct it.
The scenery in the restaurant is a mix of modern and homey giving an upscale cozy vibe. Overall I would recommend Yardbird for a good meal!
My time at Yardbird was an interesting overall experience. The appearance and the vibe of this place is amazing. It has a great energy and it feels very easy to have conversation. When it comes to the food and service, I was a bit disappointed.
Now to start things off, I was in a party of 10. This might have had a different outcome if it wasn't a large group. When we got there we had enjoyed the table that was presented and had a good time. We started off with mimosas which were pretty decent. The bottle were $50 with a small portion of juice (Cranberry, Pineapple, or Orange) and an extra set of juice costs $5. Our waiter was good but I think he was overstretched with other group of tables. This will be something to look back during the rest of the review.
It took them a while to order our food and it took it even longer to get the food to us. Once we got our food, it wasn't any condiments to go with the food and we had to request it. It just felt like they were slammed and it was the wrong time to attend.
The food could have been better. It wasn't nasty but it was not great. I ordered the "Great American Burger" and I felt disappointed. A big burger but the taste was lacking. The fries great.
I think the biggest portion of the disappointment was the time it took to get everything to us and the food didn't the match the wait. Maybe going back with a smaller party should be something I look into to see if the result is the same.
Still I would say try it but I think it could be better than a view or a beautiful look.
Went here for a work dinner. The restaurant was not busy as it was a later meal on a weekday. We really enjoyed the food. The fried chicken tasted great and the portions are more than enough. They could be shared by a couple of people. The salads are good as well. I would suggest the cornbread and biscuits as appetizers. There is also a good selection of drinks. Our server was very attentive and provided some good recommendations.
Great Restaurant, Great Service, Great Atmosphere ,Very Clean and Presentable. I ordered the Chicken with Mac and Cheese and Potatoes and Gravy. When the meal was served I took a bite of my wife's chicken because she got hers before me. It was not hot so I told my wife that in private or at least I thought I did. To my surprise when they bought me my dish they had also prepared another dish of fried chicken for my wife and it was Hot. THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE TO ME. WAY TO GO!!!
Came here with my husband for lunch we ordered the 16oz steak and it was so good! Very flavorful.
For appetizers we got the biscuits which were pretty big but really good!
We came during the day so the bartender was our waiter since it was empty. he gave us A+ service, very friendly and would check on us to make sure we had everything. Also the cooker came and prep our steak. Will definitely be back.
The restaurant was just average. For the price, we expected way better. The food wasn’t worth it at all- our steak, mashed potatoes, and burgers were all served cold. Drinks were alright, but nothing special. The service was okayish, not great. Honestly, if you are thinking of going for a nice meal or a fine dining experience, I would skip this place. Disappointing overall! Not recommended at all!
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was on point. The service was great and it was a really good atmosphere. I had the chicken and waffles. They have this Bourbon maple syrup that tastes great. I also had their fried green tomatoes. They were okay as well. I would recommend this restaurant if you like chicken and waffles or just like fried chicken. For my drink I had a sweet tea. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us. She also gave us recommendations of things that she enjoyed since this was our first time experiencing this restaurant. The restaurant itself was very clean and had good lighting. The location was nice as well, right? Next door to Perry's Steakhouse. Parking was available in the parking garage or you can do valet. They will validate your parking if you park in the garage so you don't have to pay. If I'm ever in the mood for chicken and waffles again I will definitely go back to this restaurant.
