Boneless wings were the only good thing, I like that they came with ranch instead of of blue cheese. Place smelled like a public bathroom? Hair in my ginger ale. Cheese for pretzel was disgusting and watery. Pineapple chicken and artichoke dip was okay. The cleanliness is what really brings this place down why does it all stink???
Food was sub par, medium rare burger can well done and dry, fries were cold… pickle was cold and crisp! 10 taps on one side were “out”. Bad first impression
I wanted to like this place but I should've believed some of the reviews. I went to the Norwalk location and although the atmosphere and vibe were very welcoming the food left much to be desired. The crispy chicken wings were bland not even the BBQ sauce helped. The firecracker shrimp were spicy yet gummy and those were just the appetizers. I still ordered a main and that was even worse. I took 2 bites of the bbq burger and that was all it took to lose my appetite. How do you mess up a burger! My son ordered the Mediterranean salmon and left half of it. I wanted to like this place but when you go out to eat you kind of expect to be able to enjoy something other than the soda.
This Yard House is extremely poorly run. I’ve been to numerous locations across the country, and was excited to take my family and friend here. I called ahead to get on the list, and was told 20-25 minutes. We arrive ten minutes later and are told it would be another 20-25. We proceed to wait an hour after the initial call time and are once again told 20-25 minutes more. We went to Jacob’s Pickles next door to put our name down, as my one year old was getting hungry. While waiting next door (with our name still on the list at Yard House, mind you), the host chose to remove us from the list without sending any text. When I spoke to them on the phone, they offered little explanation and barely believable apologies. Would not recommend this location to anyone who values their time, especially if they have little ones with them. As someone who worked as a host an at incredibly busy restaurant for a long time, they simply do not understand how to quote proper wait times or how to follow up with their existing wait list. Super disappointed as I’ve been a big fan of other locations I’ve been to and hyped it up to my friends that were with me. Luckily, Jacob’s Pickles got us seated soon after we were unceremoniously removed from the wait list after an hour and a half.
We came for happy hour, tried the chicken tortilla soup, spinach dip, firecracker shrimp, sliders, chicken nachos, margarita pizza( if you love garlic try it). All items were great. Easy access from the SONO collection parking.
Nice Place!
We stopped at this place for a bite to eat. We were sat promptly; had to wait awhile for the waiter. He did apologize; afterwards everything was awesome. The food & the service. The portions were enough. I especially enjoyed the mango mojito; it was delicious. The atmosphere was cool too. I will definitely return.
Mall restaurants would give you second thoughts but this place was really good. We went during happy hour and was shocked with the happy hour prices for dinner food. This place does get packed as we tried before to get in but they had no open tables for 30-45 mins. So going at happy hour at another time after some shopping made all the difference. Food were excellent, no issue with service. They do have a huge beer selection which was very imitating so I stuck with the usual. We actually had fun playing the games on the tablet too!
This place blew me away from the service to the food. The customer service was top notch, they kept us updated, made sure we were happy and satisfied with what go we got. The food was great, it was different yet delicious.
