Best WLM Reviews
I recently visited this restaurant for a Sunday football game, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience overall. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. I ordered the lunch portion of jambalaya, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—an impressive feat considering I travel extensively and have dined at thousands of establishments. My jambalaya was a delightful blend of shrimp, sausage, and baby crawfish, all enveloped in an exquisite sauce that struck the perfect balance. It had just the right amount of spice—enough to tantalize the taste buds without overwhelming them. Accompanied by perfectly seasoned spicy rice, it was a dish I won’t soon forget.
My husband opted for the lime chicken with pineapple, and he was equally impressed by the flavors. We also indulged in their alcoholic beverages, which were skillfully crafted and didn’t disappoint.
The only drawback of our visit was related to the game coverage. We had requested to be seated where the Packers game was playing, but unfortunately, we were placed at a table where that game wasn’t available. To our surprise, multiple screens were showing the same game, which was a bit puzzling.
Despite this minor hiccup, our overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this restaurant for both its exceptional food and vibrant atmosphere!
Finger licking Good! I had the bone in wings, the crunch was soooo perfect, the flavor was on point! The boneless wings were on the small side, but taste just as good! Service was great and overall chilll vibes. Highly Recommend :)
The environment is dark but has the downtown and sports vibe. Great place for drinks and to watch a game. Dining isn't all that bad either. The appetizers are on the more extreme side of New American Dishes, but they had classics for main courses and dinners. I ordered the 8oz. fillet mignon dinner that came with rich creamy mashed potatoes and buttery neatly cooked vegetables. Overal the dinner was expensive but delicious so for those reasons i rate it a 7.6/10. Service was amazing.
When you order a delicious Chocolate Stout beer, and José brings you back a Cherry Chocolate Flavor thing, that's not a delicious winter stout, you kinda notice, but apparently they don't think you'll notice, because your just a customer...
When you're out of an item on the menu, and a customer brings it to your attention, don't say " the bartender just gave you, another Chocolate thing, because we were out of that Stout" just go back to the customer and say, "hey, were out of this"....
And once the said customer discusses it with you, and you again, return with another beer, that's Belgium and delicious, and still not the said Stout, you only then mention, how your out of the "Stout"...
It's OK to talk about a customers order.
Instead of forcing them to drink stuff, that's not very similar to their order at all.
My kid loved the pizza...
My wife liked the salty Ahi salad...
I liked my Truffle burger..
The atmosphere of eating in another mall in Sacramento is wearing thin...
With your only views from the big beautiful windows, are the mall escalators, and an endless amount of TV's decorated the walls.
Overall pretty average experience. Slider burgers were dry and pretty tasteless, and chicken tenders dry and overcooked. The artichoke dip was decent, but the queso was fantastic! I actually ended up not eating the burgers, left them on the table, and got full from the queso. We did appreciate that the food arrived fairly quick. Drinks... Drinks were not so great. Soda had a bad taste and was nearly flat. I'd suggest maybe clean out the lines, and checking your ratios. Soda definitely had a bar gun taste. Since that didn't work I bucked for a specialty drink. When it got to me the ice was pretty much melted, and the drink itself tasted like the ratios were off. This has been our 3rd experience with Yard House and I think maybe it's just not for us.
The food is good, the prices are a bit high, but if you go during Happy Hour, I would say it’s worth it. The prices are half off selected appetizers and entrees. There are of course drink specials too. The Brussels sprouts are so delicious the sauces are amazing. The chicken nachos were okay, not really the best I’ve had. The sliders were good, they have a “special sauce” already inside. The chicken tenders were very crispy and very hot in temperature as were the sliders! The pizza was okay, the tomatoes kept rolling off and the mozzarella was placed in the middle so it was middle heavy making the pizza fall apart when picked up by the crust. The tomato bisque was delicious and the complimentary brookie was very good too! Plenty of parking in the garage, $8/hour without validation. Service is decent, it’s a bit dark inside but that’s the atmosphere.
My husband had the 20oz ribeye. He asked for it medium, and they overcooked it. I've been here before, and they overcooked my steak. I had the Thai pork chop, that dishe was amazing and so satisfying. The drinks were okay, I wish they were stronger. The Miguel's cheese was a waste of time. Good customer service.
If you are ever traveling on a train and have a long wait tell the train comes I highly recommend checking out the Yard House. So worth every cent we paid for our meal. The food was absolutely amazing our server was really good and the atmosphere was great not to loud not to hot it was prefect. A great way to be able to get a nice meal and recharge ur battery before getting on the train again. Plus it really close to the train station in Sacramento.
